I used to like Togo’s but it has gone way downhill. Seems like the good old pastrami sandwich is now has half the pastrami twice the bread and a majority oh the meat in this particular sandwich was an inedible piece of fat cap gristle from the pastrami. It took 30 minutes to get our order but this particular day a positive note was the staff said they just got bombed with a bunch of orders at the same time and they are very positive and apologetic despite another disgruntled customer.

My family and I stopped by tonight to grab dinner before walking on the beach. We are visiting from out of state and wanted to swing by togos because it was one of my mother in law’s first jobs growing up. My mother in law was treated incredibly rudely by one of the workers. Not sure if he was having a bad day or not, but snapping at customers because they can’t hear you isn’t okay. Could have really used a lesson in customer service. Gave us a sour taste and a bad experience when we were just trying to revisit a happy memory.

I get there there’s a line out the door they’re not serving anybody. So I wait my turn. I order my sandwich it comes. It’s got no mayonnaise on it. Driest sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. I go back in. I ask for mayonnaise. I have to wait to get the mayonnaise not good. They’re handing out bottles of water to other people that had to wait in line but only specific people which I thought was weird. I waited in line just as long as the lady behind me and she got a bottle of water but nobody else did. Should have went to 41st Ave. Never had a problem. Their service is great. Food is great it’s just right. This was absolutely disgusting. I will never come back.

I don’t know maybe it’s me but the bread seems different than it used to be not particularly special in any way and the meat fatty and the employees not real happy to see you. Maybe because they know the sandwiches have gone from bomb to run of the mill

Their were 2 Awesome employees working on 8-12-2022 and they BOTH treated us with kindness, respect, and laughter. All 3 of our sandwiches were delicious and made at a reasonable speed. We will definitely come back!

In my opinion, this Togo’s has had the best sandwiches I’ve ever had for the past month and is worth the money than those at Subway. I always get a #24 Turkey and Avocado Sandwich 6″. The employees always put plenty of each ingredient and balances each one out correctly. They also have great service towards their customers and are very understanding and patient with them. Overall, this place is a five stars for me even though I wish they had better management in terms of hiring more workers to attend to their customers in a timely fashion.
