So happy we do not have to drive 50 + miles to eat Japanese food. Our food was delicious. The service was outstanding. We highly recommend dining here.

This was the absolute worst hibachi I’ve ever had. I got the shrimp and steak combo with a spicy tuna roll. The hibachi tasted like mop water. The grill they cooked it on must’ve just been wiped with an old, stinky dishcloth because that’s exactly what the food tasted like. The spicy tuna roll was made with old fish that had dried up a bit. The staff was not very approachable and on top of this, the food was overpriced. I paid over $20 for that trash. Never again.

lil pricey but besides that, love their music while dining in! have a great waiting staff. never had to wait to be seated any time i’ve been, nor have i experienced having to wait for a refill. annndd my personal favorite detail would definitely be how phenomenal their sushi is ❤️‍

I go to Tokyo bistro a few times a week. Never had a problem with anyone there. Today, I had to cuss the lady behind the register out. She was rude, an popped off at the mouth. I was extremely polite when I told her she forgot my white sauce, an she got mad b/c it interrupted her socializing with her friend. She also forgot my fork. She looks young, maybe early 20’s, but overweight. As a restaurant owner, I understand how hard it is to find employees rn, but please get rid of her.

Food is great, always perfect to seasoning. The waitress are very friendly and super sweet. The only thing I would change is the sweet tea, but everyone’s tea is not like your own. My waitress name was Aleaha?? She was super nice, kept refills coming. Also the restaurant smelled nice, which you don’t typically get at Asian cuisine. Definitely the it spot close to White Lake for in season when you need that Japanese fix.

We have ordered here several times. The first time was amazing and we were so happy but it seems to just gradually get worst. We have had it all since then (items missing, wrong item, horrible quality, etc.)Today is probably the worst yet. Order over $63 (for lunch) , & made the almost hour round trip since they are the closest to us. There was a lot wrong including but not limited to only onion in our hibachi (No other veggies at all), rice had zero flavor at all and was mushy, & The fish was completely over cooked and dry. It’s so heartbreaking since we had such high hopes but this is the last time we will be eating here.

Came here for a bite to eat as my partner and I were starving after a long drive. The sushi rice was mushy, barely any filling in the spicy crab roll. We both ordered hibachi plates. The whole dish was overly salty & rice was undercooked. Steak tasted like adobo…even though it’s “Japanese” cuisine. Perhaps hiring an actual Japanese chef would help this place out because it was honestly one of the worst meals I’ve ever had. Do not recommend for anyone who’s looking for actual Japanese cuisine!!!!!!
