This is what they just gave me. Its suppose to be a spider roll and dragon roll. Their overpriced sushi use to be decent. Now this is what I get for $20. Needless to say it will be my last time. Isn’t nothing EXPRESS about this place. Pulled up and Menu signs are broken and not there. Then took them forever to realize I was there. Had to pullup to the window. Ordered 4 egg rolls and was told to wait 10 minutes in the parking lot. WoW. Lost my service as a first time customer. Terrible.

Ordered the chicken and steak hibachi and just got the chicken. Was even charged for the steak.. Very upset… left a tip and everything and this is twice I’ve been done like this… It’s a shame because I love the food but not going back if I don’t even get what I pay for…

So this is definitely a shady looking place to grab some Japanese food. However, don’t let the looks deceive you. This is a cook to order restaurant. The food is always fresh and is absolutely delicious! My whole family lives it (including my 11 year old and 9 year old). Their sushi is incredible! I’ve tried quite a few different sushi rolls and I’ve been satisfied with them all. I especially love the Tokyo roll, even though I get it without the cream cheese. Also, if you like spice the Hunan chicken is my favorite.

Two stars may be a stretch, but just had to give something better than a one. Its very apparent that there are new owners at Tokyo Express. Food quality has taken a big hit and they like to give lots of rice with very little in the veggies. The Yum Yum sauce is what makes the meal so much better but they now only give you less than a full container. This has all been going on since the first of the year. Tokyo Express is simply not what it used to be.

Misfit Queen
This place used to be one of my favorites, however, they have went downhill tremendously. The dinner plates are lunch portion size. I ordered online, had to wait for them to make it when I got there. Then they messed up 2 out of 3 of the dinners, so I had to wait for them to recook them. About an hour later, I received my to go order. For the portions, it should ha e been lunch prices.

Well I want to start by saying, I didn’t want/need to go this far but. This has been the 3rd account of myself and other friends of mine who have been food poisoned. I don’t know how/why. But my plate was fine. My wife’s plate which she didn’t eat much of, I had just a small portion of her hibachi chicken plate. Within 20-30 minutes, severe stomach cramps which ends in a wetttttt mess. U get the drift. My friend, same thing a few weeks earlier and he went to the doctor over it being soo bad. I truly love this place and would eat here often but recently I’ve been timid due to this. Please please please figure it out. This is our only asian take out in town (I think). I want Tokyo BACK to its glory days

Ordered the Hunan Beef. It was a small portion, very bland with tough meet. Im not sure why they would serve potatoes with this dish being that it comes with white rice. The potatoes were also raw. Not very appetizing at all. Would not recommend. Maybe their sushi rolls are better, however after my experience I won’t be trying anything else.
