Food and experience was average (good) but service was not. The waitress brought out incorrect drinks, messed up on salad orders, and incorrectly instructed the chef not to give me shrimp ☹️. Most importantly, she failed to inform the chef of another person’s shrimp allergy. The chicken was cooked and served with the shrimp, which was not acceptable to the girl with the shrimp allergy, so the chef distributed the chicken to the rest of the table and had new chicken brought out for her. The food was good and all was made right, but it made for a very awkward dinner.

Although this place is not as fancy as the similar modern places, it is clean, the service is good, the food is always delicious, & they put on a good show. I like the prices here much better than the modern ones.. especially for lunch. My favorite is the hibachi chicken, but my son loves the steak & shrimp. I love to experience the atmosphere of the restaurant, but I also frequently get food “to go” from here when I am dining alone. ❤️

My favorite, chefs are very nice & welcoming. The place is a little run down but sometimes you can’t let the exterior fool you. The food is great, each chef cooks differently so don’t always expect the same thing. Glad they’re still a land marker & there still open even after the owners passing. Love the family. Very welcoming. Highly recommend

The food was good. The service was decent at best(rude waitress). Fairly high prices. During the dinner session rice does not come with meal, you have to be extra for rice. I bought a $12 hibachi chicken meal and had to pay an extra $1.50 for rice. This place is a hack.

Thank you for more than 25 yrs of serving us. I have always enjoyed this place and the wonderful staff that worked there. The food is excellent and was even still able to eat here after going vegan. The cooks were very accommodating and put on a great show!

I’ve worked here for about 6 months now. My overall experience starting from a waiter moving up into chef has been great. Training with all these great chefs & staffing personnel, Sharing ideas & perspectives has made it a great team environment. Times can get tough, but you should never let them bring you down. Getting to cook for families/ regulars & even new faces is an experience you can’t quite get working anywhere else. I appreciate everyone & everything that’s gotten me to this moment. Thank you & I hope my review is an insight for furture workers ✌️

I’m about to go here for lunch. It’s the kid’s high school graduation, today, so he picked the lunch restaurant. I go here every year on his birthday for the same reason… he loves this place. Nobody else in the family likes it. I think, maybe, he picks it to watch us suffer.
