I’m giving this restaurant a rating of 2. I brought my daughter here for her 7th birthday dinner. We had a group of 20 persons. The service was a tad bit slow, we arrived at 7:30pm, but did not begin eating entrees until around 9pm. This was understandable with such a large party. The food was awesome! I am giving a rating of 2 to the restaurant because of the behavior of their chef Coconut (should be coo coo nut). My ENTIRE family saw the chef assault a young man that could not possibly have been older than 17-18 years of age. This happened in the presence of young children ages 6months-11 years of age. The manager (very likeable by the by) took the young man home. I won’t be patronizing this restaurant anymore after witnessing a grown man SUCKER PUNCH a child in the face and then taunt him. I encourage everyone to ask for someone other than coconut if you go.

The food was amazing . the waitress. was right on point. The chef was funny.and an expert at his job. this is the first hibachi restaurant that i have been to that the full staff worked as a team,and you didn’t have to ask for anything. The owner is amazing as well. friendly,warm, and very inviting. i most definitely will be back. We are new to Mobile from Florida and so far this is the best place to eat in town. Check them out this weekend for a dinner and show that will be the best you have had in a while.

I have been coming here since 2011, the new management is awesome! The sushi and hibachi are all fantastic. My fiancé and I probably come here and eat at least once a week. Tony is a class act and the waiters are always good. Definitely worth a visit. I’m pulling now. YUM!

New owners/management has revitalized this place! The new owner came to our hibachi table and explained to us what they have done to make their resturant stand out from the rest(as far as food quality/quantity goes) and was a stand up guy. Definately eye opening! Worth the visit! Have been here 3 times in 2 months!

I was really looking forward to eating here. It was terrible! The food had such a funny taste to it..It taste like it smelt in there. Some kind of weird stitch. The sodas were even NASTY! Our waiter was such a butthole! He got mad because my baby wasted her soda..Really? He was such a terrible waiter to the point I couldn’t even force myself to give him a tip. We left a card in there, went back to get it..They wouldn’t even let my husband go find the card..They food is over priced for the taste. The only good experience was chef. He was awesome but the food was still awful. My baby whined all last night about his stomach hurting and I am pretty sure it was because of this pitiful restaurant. Don’t waste your money!

New management since we were last there. Place looks the same and mostly taste the same, except for the yum yum sauce. Please bring back the sesame almost peanut tasting sauce, this new one is way to sweet! Coco is the best chef in the house… just sayin…

Got hibachi and sushi. The shrimp could not have been cooked more perfectly! The steak was a perfect medium, and the sushi was fresh and delicious too. The building looks a little rough on the outside, but the food was great!
