Our experience was fine. The sushi was excellent. We came here on the Friday before the 2018 home opener. The downtown restaurants were hopping and this one was no exception. We had great service and the food was the star of the show. Try the Beaver roll. Eel and Mango in an attempt at black and orange, I think. It was scrumptious and the mango was at the prime of ripeness. Definitely would come back when next in Corvallis.

Love their bento teriyaki steak with shrimp vegetable tempura. We didn’t particularly like the chicken fried rice, it tasted like it may have gone sour. Their lunch prices are pretty good and their onion soup is light. I’d come back again.

The service staff were amazing and did a really great job. The alcoholic beverages were also really great. The rest of the food, however, was hit or miss. Some of it was very good and others not so much. My fiance and I both also got water with floating particles in it we didn’t see until we had drank some.

Clean grill! That’s because at this “teppanyaki” restaurant they think teppanyaki means sit next to a grill, not have your food cooked on it. Not only did we sit here for 15 to 20 minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge us, but after we ordered they just brought us our mediocre food. There is no explanation on the menu. When I called to ask for hours of operation they had the opportunity to tell us then as well. Won’t be back. If you are coming for teppanyaki, save your money and go anywhere else

My husband and I ordered two meals, one with three different sushi and a yakisoba. The server wote down the order and forgot to ring up one of them. We waited for a hour before we were offered the check, without the yakisoba. They were informed of this and we wetent even offered compensation. We will not be returning due to the terrible service.

This place is okay. They have a big selection of sushi but it is so overpriced it kills me every time I go there. Two adults and a child and a few sushi rolls was well over $100. The atmosphere is okay, the service is okay, the food is okay but they are priced as if they are premium. Not saying it’s terrible but I am saying I only go there because my family wants to go on certain holidays. Other than that there’s no chance you will ever find me here unless I’m drugged by family members. I’m not saying it’s bad. Three stars is appropriate. It’s decent food but it’s severely overpriced.

My overall rating is based on multiple visits. Some visits, I’d give it 5 stars especially when we dine at the hibachi tables. Other visits, I’d give it 3 stars based on how slow the service can be. Food is usually pretty good worthy of 4 stars. Staff usually friendly and kind. I do recommend supporting the local business and not a chain.
