Lots of items on the menu and settled to get the unagi bowl, pork cutlet and the fried squid salad. The eel was grilled perfectly and just wished there’s more. Pork cutlet was juicy and radish on top paired very well. The greens and dressing on the fried green salad was very good and the squid itself is tender and just just really wished there was more than four calamari rings. Overall, I’d definitely come back to try the rest of the menu.

How this restaurant is not filled every night is beyond me. First off, I loved the interior design its is a rustic Japanese theme. The wait staff are really friendly and will help you make a choice although everything looks and sounds so good. Ibam usually pretty quick to make a choice, but I was torn by so many great sounding options. I wasn’t the only one having a hard time making decisions my wife and our friends also had a hard time choosing but like myself they ended up very impressed by their choices. This gem even offers a discount if you show up dressed in cosplay.

Very authentic Japanese restaurant nestled within a shopping complex. They are known for their curries and katsu, which they excel in. We always order the katsu-ni curry, which is a fried pork cutlet cooked in egg, and the katsu don, which is a fried pork cutlet over seasoned rice. Very heartwarming and happy to have real Japanese food like this in Plano.

We got the most amazing service, we made a reservation and the treatment was unbelievable I low key was like is there a fee for this extra service but the food was amazing the atmosphere was relaxing yet chill. We don’t really hang out after eating but we enjoyed the atmosphere so much we stayed talked ordered dessert and just enjoyed our fam day. Will definitely be coming back we loved it

The lady who greeted us at the front was incredibly sweet and double checked to make sure everything was as we ordered. The restaurant was also decorated really nicely and felt magical to be in. I loved the food! We got the Kitsune cold, Katsu-ni curry, Beef udon, and Chasu miso ramen. Of all the cold sobas I’ve had, this restaurant’s Kitsune (meaning fox in Japanese) was the best soba I’ve ever tasted. Not too salty or heavy sauce flavor just a nice flavor enhancer. The meat were very tender and the noodles were well made.

The food here is excellent. We got spicy ramen and the curry plate w/ katsu, shrimp, and oyster. All fried items were impeccably crispy and delicious! And the spicy ramen was actually SPICY – impressed more than dedicated ramen restaurants. Also came with free edamame to start! The only reason this is 4 stars instead of 5 is the price, which feels quite high, but they also have various discounts available for teachers, nurses, etc., even cosplayers… Check out their special days throughout the week!

It’s been a few years since my last visit to Japan, but I’m sure I can find better foods at any konbini than at this establishment. The broth and curry were overly sweetened, the cutlet was served soggy, and the tempura tasted like it belonged in a box by the frozen food aisle at a local grocery store.

This is the closest I’ve come to authentic Japanese food. The quality is fantastic! I’m a big fan of fried food and the tempura skill here is top notch, arguably the best in Dallas. Fav dish got to be the pork katsu curry. Pork is always tender and juicy. Very very good. Also best fried shrimp tempura. Service is also great! Must try
