I ask for vegetables and rice!! Extra vegetables instead of the soup and salad!! They gave me nothing but vegetables!!!!! Please make sure you look at your food before leaving the place.!! I live twenty-eight miles from this place!! Then she wanted to argue with me and said, “That’s what I asked for!! She told me I had to come right now to get my money back . My food are it’s nothing they can do for me!! $9.00 down the drain!! It will take that in gas!! They are always so good!! I think it’s just a person who was taking the artist over the phone!!

Where shall I start? Got there at almost 7pm with a party of only 6 (myself, my wife, our 3 daughters and my brother). 1st time ever coming and decided to try it since it was close to home. We were sat down within 5 minutes of coming through the door at a grill we requested when asked “booth or grill”. From there, we sat for an hour (literally) before anyone came to take our drink orders. By then we were ready to order with 3 girls getting antsy, so we placed our order. It took another 15 minutes to get our drinks, soup and salad. Chef came about another 10 minutes later. We got shorted 1 steak and when I told the chef, he told me he accidentally mixed it with one of our other dishes and “sorry” but we counted the steak while he cooked them and was clearly one short. No show was performed while cooking and our young girls were looking forward to that. Soup looked like dish water and had no taste. Ginger dressing was horrible. Rice, steak, shrimp and chicken all very bland with no flavor or taste to them. Yum yum sauce, worse I have ever ate and I’ve been to many Japanese steak houses. Sauce was bland as well with not much taste. Had the super crunchy tempura roll, VERY salty, that I had a hard time eating it. As I sit here right now, it is 9pm and just finished eating. Soooo not impressed, JUST got my 2nd refill on bad sweet tea and it is very hot in the restaurant. Waitress never checked on us the whole time we sat here until it was time for our check. I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN AND WILL GLADLY DRIVE THE DISTANCE TO COLUMBIA AND EAT AT MIYABI’S or YAMATO’S near Columbiana mall. If I could, I’d give it “0” stars but that option is not available. Don’t waste your time and/or money here. For anyone who says this restaurant has great food, clearly has never been to a good one….

I only come here to eat lunch whether it’s to dine in or take out. The dine in experience is nice depending on who the cook will be and if they have some humor/tricks to show you while preparing the food. The waitresses are hit and miss with being attentive. I stick to the Hibachi Chicken that comes with soup or salad. I have never been disappointed with that.

Very nice restaurant. The sushi is very good and the salmon and tuna basically melts in your mouth. The staff are all friendly and it’s a great place to take a family for a meal. It can be a bit more expensive that other places around the area however it is definitely worth the price to me personally.

We ate on 7/25/2023. Service was horrible the worst we have experienced. The saled was watery and ginger dressing had a weird taste. Entree we ordered was over sauced. The family eating next to us left most of their food on the table. They complained about their entree. They only thing that tasted good was the sweet tea, which we had to get our own cup because we couldn’t find the hostess. Never Ever again!

HIGHLY DONT RECOMMEND!! I went to share a nice, date night dinner with my partner, and the next day we had the worst case of food poisoning. We know it was this restaurant because we traced it back here and it made sense with our symptoms. Now this is very irritating because we spent a good amount of money here AND I tipped well. I wouldn’t go here again because you’d never know if what you’re getting has a parasite in it. We got this sushi roll plus a shrimp plate.

The service was amazing came for lunch…the food was on pat with most big name Japanese restaurants….i had the yaki soba noodles with chicken, the wife had the steak hibatchi…we also got a large sake…and when i say large i mean large…was much more sake than what you get at places like yamotos or miyabi… and for a great price…also got some sushi itnwas delicious as well..will definitely be coming back..
