All of the food was way over done. Some of it to the point you couldn’t eat it. For the relatively high prices we expected a lot more. We should have stuck with Kyoto in Tewksbury. Way better prices way better food. The service and the atmosphere where both good. Just not the food.

What an amazing place with an amazing atmosphere to grab dinner! When I tell you the food was cooked to perfection, the sushi was fresh and plated with taste, the drinks were not watered down but not overly saturated in juices, and the staff were all so bubbly and friendly. The passion for what they do definitely shined through everything I ate, drank, as well as the customer service by the waitstaff. Overall I wish I could give this more stars because this hands down has been the BEST Japanese steakhouse Hibachi style food I’ve had. From beginning to end the fresh salad, the great tasting soup, I mean the list goes on and usually those two things aren’t the best at hibachi but at Tokyo in Andover, FIREEE! If you don’t take my review for it, I’m telling you GOOO EAT THERE!! I even went right before they were closing and that didn’t change ANYTHING, it was 100% energy and amazing food until closing time!

I went there for a party .13 all together. We sat on one side so I asked if the Bill could be cut In half.i told waitress my wife order for childen.Cook comes out ask m youngest grandson that he ordered something he said chicken rice and noodles. Cook then raised his voice and called for waitress.They argued in foreign language. My grandson was in tears. I wanted to leave. I should have went downhill from there. Language and communication problem. KYOTO in Tewksbury way better never had a problem and kids love it.I would not go back to Tokyo even if it was free.

Food is great, service fantastic, unfortunately the place needs a good cleaning, perhaps some paint and a new carpet. It smells a little funky. I think it has not been renovated since people used to smoke at bars. Lol

Tokyo Steakhouse was one of my first hibachi grill experiences, and it did not disappoint. It was equally tasty as it was entertaining! We dined there for my dad’s birthday, and he thoroughly enjoyed the experience (& he’s a hard one to please!) With the different meat selections and sauces, it truly was a flavorful and savory meal. I definitely recommend trying the seaweed salad, salmon, monk fish, and scallops! I also recommend getting the scorpion tails cocktail – it’s tasty and you’ll definitely get the most bang for your buck.

Great place to eat. The filet mignon was delicious and cooked perfectly. The sides were also delicious. The soup they serve you before their meal was different but I enjoyed it. The salad was also different from what I’m used to but I ate 2 of them. Me my son and my girlfriend all loved it and plan to go back soon.
