Table I was seated in was sticky and had rice on it. Ordered eel avocado rolls. The eel was barely visible, almost all avocado. Ordered a gingerale. Sent it back. The can was beyond dirty. Do not recommend this place.

Food is ok. Service is horrible. They forgot my son’s food completely until I got up and asked where it was. By the time they brought his food over, everyone was nearly done eating, and his food was still too hot to eat. The “chicken tenders” he got are simply little balls of chicken fried with panko crumbs. The glasses are only about 6oz large (take away some space for ice) and they only stopped to refill once the entire meal. Skip this place and go to another sushi restaurant in town. Thankfully, being West Hartford, there are plenty of other options.

We stopped in on a random Monday for a late lunch and the owner/host/waiter was very kind and friendly. The service was fast and the food was delicious! Some of the best sushi we’ve ever had. The honey roll was amazing and the ginger dressing on the house salad was great!

I’ve ordered sushi here many times, but the last time was my final visit. Tokyo Sushi lll gave me food poisoning on 1/28/2023. I ordered three different sushi rolls, two of which were a part of the lunch special. I also ordered a Kani salad that smelled and tasted slightly unusual, so I threw it away after taking a bite. This food made me SO SICK that I thought I was pregnant; I literally took a pregnancy test! I only ate from this restaurant the day before I got sick, and only drank water on the day of (which I haven’t been able to keep down). Tokyo Sushi lll has ruined my relationship with sushi; I am quite literally afraid to eat sushi again.
