Had a wonderful experience here at Tolsons Tavern. The bartender Jim was phenomenal and made delicious drinks for us! We decided to sit out on the patio and loved it. Sam was our server for the night and let me tell you, she is the best!!! Such a kind and attentive server. We decided to order the BBQ wings and Buffalo chicken dip as our apps (both absolutely delicious). For the main entrees we ordered the shepherds pie and marinated steak tips. No complaints from us!!! Everything was perfect from the drinks to the service and the food. This restaurant is going to thrive.

Stopped in on Mother’s Day and they had just opened for the day. We sat on the patio since it was a beautiful day and started with a beer. We ordered the Short Rob Toastie and the Sweet Chili wings to share. Both were delicious! The wings had a smoky flavor and that sealed the deal. The husband was eyeing the Whiskey and Cigar night on a Wednesday. We will definitely be back!

Simple menu, very attentive staff and the food was awesome! Wife had the French Dip and I got the signature burger. (Sorry, I didn’t take the picture until I had eaten three of the bacon planks that were sticking out the edges. ) LOL

Stopped in after work for a drink and some apps. Got the chicken tenders and a pomegranate cran margarita. Margarita was so good! I forget my bartender’s name but she had colorful hair and did a really great job. Attentive and nice. Even when she was busy she never seemed annoyed with customers, just pleasant through and through. The tenders were delicious, crispy with a variety of sauces to choose from! Hot honey and ranch was addictive.

Seems like a nice family restaurant, staff was friendly. My issue was with the price/portion ratio. The chicken wing appetizer was $15 for 7 small, overcooked wings. If my math is right, that’s over $2 a piece…disappointed. On the bright side, a Wamp pizza was reasonably priced for what you got.

This tavern does not disappoint! The shepherd’s pie was unique, comforting and flavorful, garlic-parm chicken wings so satisfying and last night ordered the sausage ricotta pizza which offered an incredible crust that was crispy and airy….well done!

I figured I try this place again for dinner with the girlfriend. The drinks had hardly any alcohol in them. The food was very subpar. Ordered burgers medium rare and they came out well done both times they fixed them. And they didn’t even taste fresh or had any flavor. The appetizers were very greasy and had no flavor or seasoning to them. I will absolutely not ever go here again and I recommend everyone to do the same

A great update to a local favorite. If you liked the old BBC you’ll love Tolson’s. Fully renovated bar with refreshed décor and updated paint and color schemes. The menu is completely new with a variety of dishes, extensive beer selection and specialty cocktails.
