Neat little place to stop for a break. Food was great and service was warm and friendly. Priced as you might expect for a place miles from anywhere, but none the less welcome. And the ice cream yummmmmm. We also enjoyed browsing the gift shop attached. I never tried or saw them but they also apparently have showers available to the public.

After a long drive from the eastern slope, it was refreshing to see to Tomichi Creek Trading Post at the bottom of monarch pass. The ice cream flavors are unique and absolutely delicious (dare I say gormet?) and the store/restaurant was in oasis in the mountains. Thanks to a recommendation from the guy at the cash register, we filled our water tank and headed south to a lovely grassy camping spot nestled in a grove of trees and overlooking a field of wildflowers. It was the best dry camping spot I have been to in a while! And after a few days of eating camping food, it was so nice to take the four wheelers down to the restaurant and have a hearty dinner. Thank you all, keep up the good work!

Camped there & loved it. Direct Water hook up, electricity hook up, & direct dumping hookup. Gas station, Full Bar, restaurant, convenience store, showers, & laundry. Welcoming staff, beautiful views, Will definitely be back!
