Pretty damn good barbecue. I am a big fan of their Brunswick stew. Also they have great seasonal milkshakes with strawberries blueberries or peaches depending on what is in season. When they sell out their out so if you’re looking for something special get there early

Best BBQ in North Georgia and it’s not even close. And one of my favorite in the state and the region. I’m partial to the brisket with a side of cheese grits but never had anything I didn’t like. Always good. Easy to get in and out of. Usually take it to go but there is some outdoor seating at a picnic table that comes in handy.

It wasn’t bad but I wasn’t impressed. The brisket and chicken were dry and not much flavor. The black eyed pea salad was amazing but other than that I don’t really plan on going back.

The BEST BBQ in Northeast Georgia…Hands Down!! If you are traveling US Hwy 441 between Clayton, GA and Franklin, NC in the months of May and October, you must stop and try Tomlin BBQ and Catering! They are located next to the Osage Market on the North side of US 441. It is a small, walk up stand, but don’t let the size make you think the taste is small. They’re BBQ is traditional pulled pork, beef brisket, chicken, and ribs. They have their own sauces that complement the meat not over powering the favor of the meat itself. The view from “dining tables” (picnic tables under a cover she’d) is breath taking!! Take the time to stop and enjoy the true taste of mountain BBQ at Tomlin BBQ & Catering…you won’t be disappointed (unless they run out)!! Oh…try the milk shakes too!!

We had BBQ for our wedding night and let me tell you- it did not disappoint. Absolutely incredible food, our family loved everything about it! The sauces were great, the baked beans were out of this world, and we truly enjoyed it all. Thank you so much for making it happen, we truly appreciate it. THANK YOU!!!

This place was amazing and everyone was so nice. We got the ribs and black eyed pea salad. They were both incredible and we wish we lived closer because we’d be regulars. Their sweet barbecue sauce is amazing and we bought a bottle. We got a hot as well.

Very lean meet, four great sauces, generous portions. A favorite local picnic spot or take out.

Roadside, takeout or picnic there. The most amazing brisket ever eaten! Sides were homemade quality with flavor as the top priority!

I was coming back from the GSM half marathon in TN. I was having a hard time finding a BBQ spot with limited phone service and figured if I saw one on the way to Atlanta I would stop by. I flew past this red shack and something told me to U-turn and come back around. I am glad that I did. To my surprise this was the Tomlin BBQ spot that I have heard about. I had some ribs earlier in the week so I figure I try something different. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and some sides. The young girl at the front was very sweet and helped me out with the menu. Ordering was quick and easy even though they had a lot of orders (which is a good indicator that you are at the right spot). They’ll hand you a ticket and call out for you when it is ready. My order took less than 2 minutes around lunch time on a Sunday. You can’t beat that. The gentleman that handed me my food was very kind as well.
