Always enjoy coming to Tommy Bahamas for the atmosphere and food. The service is good and the food is delicious, always consistent. Came here for Mother’s Day. I like that there is no pre-fixe menu or a buffet. There is a Mother’s Day Brunch menu and the regular menu that you can order from. It was a nice day to sit outdoors. We had a party of 6. I ordered the Creole Shrimp & Crab Pasta which was very good with a nice taste that added some spicy heat to the dish. We started with the Burata & Artichoke appetizer which tasty fresh with the various fresh vegetables. My husband ordered the Filet Mignon Tacos which he enjoyed. Nice flavors and plenty of food to fill you up. Others ordered the Filet & Lobster which was pricey but delicious. The Herb Crusted Mahi Mahi was a nice dish my brother ordered. Overall, the food was delicious and it is a nice restaurant for indoor and outdoor dining. Pleasant staff and very accommodating.

One of my favorite places in Orange County for a casual dinner, great food/cocktails inside bar and outside patio. It feels like the orange county vibe like you’re chilling in a friend’s backyard for dinner. I highly recommend making reservations, unless you want to wait up to an hour.

It was a pleasant night out and the food was good overall. Service was friendly but could have been more on top of things. Empty wine glasses are a bummer! Skip the Warm Goat Cheese appetizer and go with the Coconut Shrimp instead! We did enjoy our entrees of Thai Shrimp and Scallops and Crab Cakes. Pineapple Creme Brulee sounded so delightful but unfortunately it was cold and would have been better warm.

It’ been a long time to have great food and drinks/cocktails together at the same place. Everything was great. Only disappointment was the patio, expected to see colorful vivid backyard but of course it is not deal breaker. I will definitely come back that place. Went here after looking up a list of good restaurants in the Newport Beach area. This was one of the higher recommendations. Turns out it is only 10 minutes from where I was staying so decided to give it a try. Great food and service! I would say it’s a little on the pricier side, but definitely worth it

The server had a hard time remembering our orders. I went with my family, but some of our orders were messed up/unsatisfactory. The food (fish, potatoes and veggies) was cold for one order and another was missing a salad. My food (burger, fries and sangria) were delicious and I liked the goat cheese appetizer. Both the desserts (butter cake and pineapple creme brulee) were okay to me. My family loved the African tea, steak and coconut shrimp, though.

Love the food and drinks at Tommy Bahama. We came in just before happy hour (30 mins too early ..starts at 3pm), but sitting outside at a table had the ambiance of being in Hawaii. The goat cheese flatbread was amazing, as were the chicken Tinga quesadillas. We wanted to order/eat more but we stopped by for only a quick bite. We’ll be back!

This is one of our favorite places in Newport Beach. We have not had a bad meal here. Food is always super fresh and delicious and the outdoor seating is awesome. The poke nachos (special) were absolutely delicious and the truffle burger was probably the best burger we’ve ever had.
