Delicious BBQ! They guy let me try the turkey and the brisket before I ordered- both were amazing! Ordered the tacos with brisket and pulled pork and loved them both. (For what it’s worth, if I ranked the meats it would go brisket, turkey, pork, but don’t think that’s a ding on anything)

We stopped to eat a late lunch/early dinner on our way back home to New Orleans. The food was excellent. I wish they had brisket. The service was excellent. The atmosphere was ok, but only two indoor tables. It was 100 degrees outside a cool indoor space world have been amazing. Other than the lack of brisket and cool space, everything was great. I will definitely stop by next time I drive through.

Brisket was the best I have eaten but it was literally just a few pieces of brisket for $15 and that did NOT even include any sides. Flavor was delicious I just didn’t think it was a great portion for the money. We also had street tacos and they were delicious.

What an absolute FANTASTIC find as we were headed to Vicksburg craving barbecue, Tommy’s delivered on every level from the homemade barbecue sauce, ribs, turkey and brisket all were sensational including the banana pudding which so so good. Only complaint it’s not close to home, but definitely a stop on our way to coast. See ya’ll next time Tommy!!

So far, it’s really good. I like the fact that they use hardwood, not propane. I was really happy with the ribs, best pork loin back ribs in town. The pulled pork was almost perfect, but was still great. The sauce is great also. I’ll eventually try the brisket and update this review.

Do yourself a favor and eat here. Everything is fantastic and we especially loved the street tacos, brisket, collard greens, and tres leches cake! You can tell how much love and care is put into the food here so it’s worth every penny.
