This is a takeout review. All food is eaten promptly in the vehicle. I ordered meatballs and a pepperoni pizza. The meatballs were latte and solid, but they were also chewy. I’m not a fan of chewy meatballs. The pizza was good. A thick crust that was pleasant enough but I would have liked some crisp on the bottom. The sauce was good and there was a nice sauce to cheese ratio. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.9.

When I walked into Tommy’s Place I felt like I had walked into the home my wife had grown up in – 100% Italian. The first thing I noticed was the smell. I could imagine Timmy and Jean in the kitchen with a pot of homemade sauce on the stove. The people were really friendly and welcoming, like they were actually happy to see us. I had the tortellini with a red sauce. This is the first Italian restaurant that I didn’t have to ask for extra sauce! By the way, they don’t serve drinks that start with the letter M.

We haven’t been here for years. Glad we gave it another try. The house balsamic vinegarette was tasty without being overpowering. My baked penne was steamy hot and drowning in cheese – the kind that stretches endlessly. My friend had the spaghetti with 2 large sausages and plenty of red sauce. He enjoyed a coffee as I savored a cappuccino.

Food is great but the telephone orders need 100% improvement this has happened multiple times and I spoke to a couple of employees about it. After calling 15 times and getting busy signals which is not bad with redial but then they pickup and barely say can you hold after the counting on the phone of 3 minutes 48 seconds they try to pick up the line I’m on hold and disconnect me that’s the discouraging part. So as I said I spoke to a couple of employees and they told me the girls answering are to much in a hurry and this happens often. We’ll everything worked out great I’m at Marchettis picking up the $120 order. We’ll I ask why did you close down the Providence location I didn’t have these problems there and I was going there since the 70’s

We stopped by Tommy’s after visiting the DMV, and are so glad we did. We ordered over the phone and had our food delivered via curbside pickup. The portions are very generous, food was piping hot (Yum!), and Delicious!! We ordered the eggplant pie, meatball sub, curly fries, kids chicken tenders and fries, and one BBQ pizza. Customer service was fantastic…we will be back! Thank you Tommy’s pizza.

I have loved Tommy’s since day one. I remember getting out of EPHS and running to grab a slice at Wampanog Mall, then go to the arcade. Whatever you order, whenever you order it, you get the same too quality and great taste. They don’t get recognized enough. Thank you Tommy’s!!!
