There isn’t anything negative to say about Tommy’s Root beer stand. The food is delicious and a fair price. They have TONS of different options unlike the root beer stand in Corbin. They also have wifi while you’re sitting there waiting for the sweet ladies to bring you your food. The waitresses are always nice. The place is just so underrated. They’re open all year around. You’ve just got to go and try it out for yourself. 😉 I’d rather drive to Barbourbille from Corbin to get a good hamburger than the Root Beer stand in Corbin. I’m just saying.

Heavy set emo girl with half her hair dyed red sat at a random dude’s window signing up for random stuff on her phone that this guy was telling her about. We pulled in probably 5 minutes before this person she was talking too. The entire lot was full waiting for their order to be taken. We sat there 20 minutes with the windows down right beside this interaction and she never once cared enough to ask if we had ordered yet.

Got food for the family here last night. Wife wanted a chili bun with no weenie. I wanted a BCB, only ketchup and extra pickle. My burger had tomato,Lettuce, mayo, on it, but whatever, I picked the tomato off and bit into it. BAM! hiding under the patty, a whole slice of onion still in concentric rings. Fries were dark like the oil wasn’t very fresh as well. Everything was just okay.

Good place to eat. The reason for 4 stars is price. They sell hotdogs 2 for 1.50 and made with Mitchell’s Chilli and if you have bought it you know you can’t make them for that. Best thing is on Wed there 2 for $1. Thanks Tommy’s root beer stand for your down home service
