I took my mom here and we ate several rolls, all of these I highly recommend….Geisha, Tahoe, Summertime, and two others I cannot remember. I was shocked the taste is fresh and interesting. I didn’t have really high expectations for this tiny place in Carson City, maybe it was because we came on and all you can eat sushi night. Rather than doing all you can eat, we ordered the five rolls. To my surprise it was excellent, we almost finished everything, just the two of us! The sushi is delicious and fresh. I recommend the nigori sake. Yum yum.

I have gone here for years and have enjoyed the food. My elderly parents went there tonight and were treated so poorly by the staff it blows my mind. My father ordered multiple rolls and only received one. My other family got there food and he waited a long time so he told the waitress he didn’t get any other rolls. The chefs laughed at my father and never made his food! They were staring at the table and laughing! Eventually my father left and said he would never come back and their server knew what was going on and told him she didn’t blame him. Absolutely disgusted, I will never be going back.

Tomo is our favorite local sushi spot. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is always done well. The only thing is I wish they had a bit more seating, but that’s usually a minor concern because wait times are low due to speed of service.

Best sushi I’ve had in ages! Fresh and lots of interesting choices. Great all you can eat menu for a good price (think it was $24,99). Most rolls do come in 8 or 10 pieces so take it slow when ordering 😉 Quick service and friendly staff!

Sushi here is always good. Not a ton of rice which is nice. Service is good. A new girl was helping us, and she was nice. We joked with her when she forgot the name of the roll she brought that we didn’t know either. Would recommend as one if my fav places to go for sushi. Clean atmosphere

The food was fine, however the service was terrible. Two of our party received their food and the other two never got theirs. The server did not seem to notice that the two that got their food had finished it while the other two had still not received their order. After complaining it was notice that the sushi chefs were laughing as they looked at our table. Finally another order was delivered to one party memeber but the last order never arrived.another complaint was made and more snickering was notice from the bar. They thought this was funny. The check was finally requested when the final order never came. This is third time we have received substandard service at Tomo but the first time we were subjected to games being played on us with our orders while they laughed behind the counter. Three strikes and you’re out. We will not be back. Ever! If the Manager has any concern for this restaurant he needs to have a serious talk with the employees or he will continue to lose customers as this is not the only sushi place in town.
