Food was very good. I ordered the mushroom Swiss burger and immediately new i made the right choice since the girl at the counter immediately ordered one for herself! I wanted to try the cajun fries which were OK just not as hot as I would’ve liked but still had great flavor. So I tried the tots and was blown away by the crunch definitely will come back for those. The burger was absolutely amazing, juicy and flavorful throughout, I got the single 1/4lb but they offer double and triple as well and with every combo they give you your choice of cookie too. If your in Waco come try this place out!

Updated Review: This is still one of the best old school local burgers I’ve had. The whole experience took me back to my childhood hood. The cashier is always upbeat and welcoming. The food comes out fairly quick and hot. The only downside was swiping at the flies trying to land on my food.

Always drove by this place and always wanted to try it. Delicious and affordable hamburger meal with a cookie, soda drink and Cajun fries. Food took a bit longer – about 20 min to arrive – but was super fresh and delicious! Loved the cherry jubilee cookie I ate too. My husband enjoyed his Swiss hamburger and sweet potato fries. An unassuming location with delicious eats.

The burgers were surprisingly delicious and the service was about average. This is a hole in the wall that is a Waco favorite. My first time to go but we’ll definitely go back again. It’s not a pretty place but it tastes yummy!

The food is great! My friend Cooper works here and the recommended the #3 with Cajun fries. I got a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie as well and it did not disappoint! The only constructive criticism I have is the atmosphere. I feel like the place was very bare and sort of dull, but I would love to paint and decorate if yall would allow me to!

Delicious burgers and fries, ice-cold drinks, and yummy cookies. My husband and I come to Tom’s every now and then and get the bacon cheeseburger. While the inside isn’t much to look at, it feels very at-home.
