Fellow RVer’s on 17 South heading out of Bartow are you hungry? Local restaurant with excellent fish, chicken, shrimp, hush puppies, macaroni salad, potato salad, baked beans and more; good prices, carry out or eat in and don’t forget the sweet tea! We had 3 pc fish w/sides dinner, 2 pc chicken w/sides dinners and a large sweet tea for $26 come and get it!

Went here for dinner for the first time tonight. Drive past it all of the time. Finally stopped in and I’m glad we did! Food was delicious! It was a bit pricey but you get plenty of food! It was all delicious too! Only thing we didn’t like was that they didn’t really have a kids menu. The closest thing to kids meals were $10 each. But we will definitely be back! Their portions and taste beat out Chik Fil A!

Tried their livers and gizzards. The livers were about as expected, so they were okay. The gizzards were unlike any I’ve ever had, which was not good. They were very soft. Never had them like this. I usually love gizzards, but I could not eat these. The chicken that the other guys had seemed pretty good. They seemed to really enjoy that anyway.

If I could give one star I would have. The boy/man working the front taking orders is rude and tells you what they won’t do as you order. I like fresh food when I eat out and I ask for my food to be cooked fresh and he refused! These are not McDonalds prices so why would they have a problem cooking fresh food when requested? I’m sure everyone doesn’t but If I’m paying I want what I ask for! Horrible customer service

The fries were over salted,not just a little ,it was so bad they were awful. The Gizzard were good and tender but lacked flavor. The dining room looked very clean but was closed at 8 pm when I arrived.

Employees are very nice! Overall, nice place. I would just recommend a good wipe down and clean tables after customers leave. Cleanliness is the only downside….besides rolls.
