Went and got 3 lg. Fish and shrimp plates from Toms fried chicken in turkey Creek. The fish and hush puppies was so hard we couldn’t eat it. I called them and they wanted to argue with me on the phone. They won’t fix it and I’ve spent $40+ on this and now have to find something else to feed my family. Don’t give Tom’s your business. Save your money. I will be sharing this every day public to make sure that everyone sees it!! Tom’s Fried Chicken in Turkey Creek, Louisiana I wouldn’t even give them 1 star

If you find yourself off of the beaten path and need a place for refreshments and some.great lunch or supper this is the stop to make. If you have a few minutes extra and are on I-49 North or South take the St.Landry exit and head West until you get to the stopping in Bayou Chicot. The restaurant is on your right at the stop sign. The swamp burger is hands down in the top burgers I’ve tasted. The fried chicken is delicious, not greasy. Their menu is pretty extensive given there are 2 tables inside and a drive thru. I will definitely be a return customer.

Drive through/Pick Up only. Great people to deal with and the best Fried Chicken around!!! Home done onion rings….mmmm mmmm!!! A big variety of foods to choose from. I haven’t tried everything but all that i have tried is top notch!! I tell y’all….if u don’t feel like cooking and want a good down home taste….give a call down to Tom’s and place your order….drive on over and get it and wooo ooo…. Dinner is served!!!

I enjoyed going here staff is friendly food is cooked fresh. Was nothing to keep me from going back to visit this place. I tried a few items on the menu such as fried chicken, chicken livers, hamburger, and fried pickles which I never tried but we’re excellent. I even read where the swamp burger was good so I gave it a try as well and it was very much worth it even recommended others to try it.

Wanted fish and shrimp, got the “platter” because they said it had 5 pieces of fish….well, it’s maybe one filet cut up into tiny pieces! The fried shrimp were ridiculously over cooked to where they were basically dehydrated. The fish had good flavor but I can assure you I will not order another”platter” again! And for the price! Absolutely ridiculous! The hush puppies were wayyyy over fried as well to where they were inedible. (And I like hush puppies.) Needless to say we were still hungry after. It was very much a disappointment! I do have to say they do have great homemade hamburgers and chicken tenders but that’ll be a big NO on a fish and shrimp platter!
