The food is great and the service is fine, this is a great little spot in downtown Yazoo City with a great atmosphere. I got the hamburger steak, rice and gravy, Italian green beans, a roll and banana pudding. All that was one order, like a plate dinner. The only downside, if there is one, is it was about $14 after tip, so it is a little more expensive than a typical blue plate lunch is, but it was delicious. If you ever find yourself in Yazoo City between 12-2 on a weekday, check them out.

I freaking love this place upset it closes at 2pm but the best places close early. The waitress was super nice and the food was delicious. I would tell everyone to come here. Next time i am in Yazoo I will stop here. Oh and the prices super affordable for 2 people it was about $20. And asked about the tomatoes if they are home grown there aren’t but they buy from a local farmer. Can not recommend this place enough you have to try it for yourself.

I don’t know what is in the honey mustard dressing but it’s the best dressing I’ve ad close to a ginger soy sauce dressing once upon a time ago. We went on a Friday evening on our way down to Alabama for Mardi gras and i had the redfish dinner with some capers and an amazing lemon sauce? My boyfriend had the steak as a recommendation from the server.

Today I called Tom’s on Main to place a order a waitress picked up the phone I asked if I could place a order she said we out of fish and hamburger steak.I told her ok I called her back not even 2 minutes later I told her I wanted to get the bbq tenderloin she tells me we out of that to I tell her I just called and they weren’t out of it she tell me “look we are really busy stuff leave fast “ with a attitude so I hung up got on my car and drove to there restaurant when I got there the owner the guy at the register took my order I said can I place a order he said yes but I believe we out of the chicken I told him I wanted the bbq tenderloin he said yes we still have it ! I was surprised cause the mean waitress on the phone said differently which is why they getting this bad review they are usually a good restaurant but today the service was awful because of one person who didn’t wanna take a order over the phone !

My wife and I were in Yazoo City for a funeral; looked online and saw a review for Tom’s On Main. We dropped by today and we’re surprised and pleased with a great lunch. My wife had a BLT with great bacon! I went for the Cuban sandwich and it was delicious. We both had fries and we shared a banana pudding for dessert. Minor problem; should have ordered 2 banana puddings! On top of all that we had a very polite and efficient wait lady! Absolutely, very affordable lunch; $20.00 with meal, tea and dessert! We will be back!
