FANTASTIC Tonkatsu, and likely one of the best you’ll find in the US. The only comparable Tonkatsu I’ve had in the states was in Hawaii. Coincidentally, while we were eating, we learned the owner of Ton Ton had also opened up Tonkatsu Ginza Bairin. We felt this place was just as great (and maybe even a little better, as well as cheaper!!). It’s a bit further away from places off-strip, but it was well worth the wait and drive to get here.

Best katsu I’ve had since Japan. Never thought I’d get super light, crispy, flavorful katsu in the US, but here we are. Smaller restaurant with limited seating so expect to wait if it gets busy but so worth it! Highly recommend you give this place a shot if you’re craving some incredible katsu.

The hype is real!! It’s really a great restaurant for the tonkatsu. I was a bit hesitant to try it out because I also make my own tonkatsu at home I can’t compare, theirs is way better!! 🙂

2023Feb18, Sat, We’ve decided to have dinner at Ton Ton Katsuya – felt like being transported to Japan!! What an dining Japanese experience for an authentic and delicious Katsu dishes. Very highly recommended. Their service and their quality of food should be illegal because they’re that so so so good!

This was our last stop on our Vegas weekend, and it was such a great choice to end our trip with. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was authentic and staff super helpful. We enjoyed the thick cut katsu set which was perfectly complimented with miso soup and rice. Grinding your own seseame for the katsu sauce was a very unique touch! The jumbo shrimp katsu set was also very yummy. They had a drink we don’t often see and had to try it: the Nagaski Milk Tea. It was out of this world…. had a floral taste accompanied by honey. Wish more places offered it! Took some Katsu Sando to go and enjoyed those later too. Highly recommend this place, just note that there will likely be a wait and the larger your party the longer the wait since the restaurant is cozy and on the smaller end.

Not going to lie, the food here is five star, but the customer service is one star. Took them twenty minutes to get a check because they might have system issues but didn’t bother to let customer know. When we ask them they pretend they don’t know. But food wise, fair price and juicy meat. Will stop by to give another try but so far, not sure to recommend for dine in experience or not.
