Founded by the Gambino Family in 1972, it was originally known as Figaro’s Pizza. Our celebrated family recipe hails from Palermo, Sicily. After becoming a staple on the east coast, the hand-tossed legacy lives on in Minnesota. Our first Tono location, in Maplewood, opened in 2019. Our second location, in Saint Paul, opened in 2020. The third, in Coon Rapids, opened in 2021. This is our fourth location, and we are ecstatic to be part of, and to serve, the Woodbury community!
To pay homage to our history, we built another beautiful brick-oven to add a unique flavor to our pies. We invite you to come have a taste of tradition!

Absolutely love this place, both their cheese steak sandwiches and their pizzas. Full of flavor, awesome ingredients (especially the bread and crusts), and always properly cooked. All the food actually looks like it does in their pictures. We’ve ordered here many times and have never been disappointed. Service is quick and pieces are very reasonable. This place is awesome for fans of hot sandwiches and oven fired Neapolitan pizza.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I really enjoyed the caprese salad. I ordered chicken on the side. It’s seasoned with oregano and garlic. It was served cold on the side. The pepperoni pizza was also very flavorful and tasty. Service was fast and hot. My husband enjoyed the Italiano salad.

This place is pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty good (in my Larry David voice) first thing is the aesthetic blows away when you step into the building, the atmosphere is super chill and relaxed. I’m thinking this would be a pretty decent date night place for a young couple to eat before a movie or night on the town. The staff is very knowledgeable and willing to help you navigate around the endless choices it seems like LOL. The menu is filled with awesome food that makes you happy when you eat it LOL. Plus they have different sauces that will bodyslam your taste buds! I could go on for days about this place but if you are looking good food and good people you will not regret. I highly recommend this place

First time to Tono’s – stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. Only customer in the restaurant – the woman at the cash register was not very welcoming. Ordered pizza- was done fairly quickly. Sausage, carmelized onions and sauce were plentiful and very tasty. Crust was burned throughout the pizza – much of it was inedible.

Great stone fired pizza that comes out super fresh and not burnt. They gave a great selection of not only pizzas but sandwich and salad options as well. They have a bunch of customers sauces available at no charge as well.

I ordered 2 pizzas for pickup. They were molten hot when I received them which was great. Service was very friendly and my pizzas were ready on time. Unfortunately there was hardly any sauce or toppings or flavor. I wanted the red sauce to be a delicious burst of tomato flavor but it didn’t have enough of it on the pizza to even give it much of anything. I’m pretty sure the chicken pizza I ordered was made without the chicken and the only predominant flavor was hot honey and woodfired crust. A side of red sauce would’ve saved it a little bit but for almost 40$ for two pizzas I really don’t think it should be necessary. I probably will just stick with Punch next time, sorry.
