Ton’s is an icon in Broussard. Their food is good. Their prices are a little steep for what it is, but that is indicative of many locally owned restaurants in this economy. The people are friendly and the atmosphere is definitely what you would expect in South Louisiana , warm and hospitable.

The only reason I am giving this particular establishment a 4 instead of 5 is food quality. The food is really good, don’t get me wrong, but as a comparison to other plate lunch establishments it could be better. That being said the workers are ALWAYS super nice when I visit for lunch. They have really good country fried steak, pork chops, and their chili dogs are delicious too.
