1st timer here. I got a pound of barbacoa, flour and corn tortillas and salsa verde. The flavor on this barbacoa is amazing! Hardly any fat and not greasy at all! Corn tortillas was good but the flour could have used a few more mins on the comal. The salsa was fresh and had our noses running (good yum). I’ve tried finding the best tasting barbacoa in town for many years and I’ve just found it!

Just found this place, and I’ve been wasting my time going south side for barbacoa. Perfectly juicy, flavorful, and served perfectly cooked and fresh. The corn tortillas were soft and fresh. Although I used my own garden grown onion and celantro, the avacado and pico I purchased was delicious.

Living on the northeast side of San Antonio it’s always a little difficult to find some really good barbacoa and menudo. So happy we found Tony’s. Locally owned and food is always fresh and delicious. Honestly never disappoints tamales barbacoa and menudo are always hot and flavorful. Lately he has been extremely busy so it’s best to go early.
