Quaint little place off the main road. This was the best fried seafood platter I’ve had so far. Very fresh fish and seafood. The servers are friendly and attentive. Coming back for that clam chowder. I just had the sample but I could have a whole bowl! You should try this place you won’t be disappointed!

If you’re ever in Florida find Tony’s Clam Chowder Seafood Restaurant and eat the best clam chowder you’ll ever have. We each had a cup of it and then shared a seafood platter with salad and coleslaw. Even though we loved the seafood platter the next time we eat there we will get a bowl of chowder and then try a dessert. Or at least take dessert with us to go. Please try this place if possible. This was my first time here. They have indoor and outdoor seating. We sat inside, which had a fishing theme. The gentleman that sat us brought over a sample of their New England Clam Chowder. It’s the best Chowder I have ever tasted. As I was reading the menu, I saw that their Chowder is a 3 time world champion. I ordered the crab cakes appetizer along with a side of Coleslaw. It came with a remoulade sauce, which was just the right amount of spicy. My neice got the crab roll, also with a side of Coleslaw. Everything was delicious! I got a piece of Key Lime pie for dessert, and for a second, I thought I was back in Key West. The bill came to $50.00 plus tip, which I will admit is a bit pricey, but the food was well worth the price of admission. I will definitely be back! So if you’re ever in Mt. Dora Florida and looking for something a little different, check out Tony’s Chowder House.

The food was soooo yummy today. The staff were absolutely out of this world amazing. I brought my parents and baby today and they were amazing with the baby. They brought him out fries,oranges, and crackers while we waited on food and we’re so nice with reccomending food. The clam chowder is fabulous too. The nicest meal we have had in a while!
