After seeing lots of hype about their pizza being the best, I had to give them a try. The pizza was really good! Ingredients and cheese and everything tasted homemade and fresh, but I wouldn’t say it was out of this world or anything. Good, but nothing spectacular.

This was a little touch of home! Five years being in Md from NY, we’ve yet to find an Authentic Italian spot until NOW. Husband raved about the pizza and treated me with a dinner of the Chicken Parmigiana, and appetizer Calamari. The sauce was perfect, made from fresh tomatoes with a hint of sweetness! Calamari had a nice flavor and crisp! Least to say it was nothing short of AMAZING! Hubby had Sausage and Potatoes and there was a joyful quietness at the table due to its deliciousness! I recommend this place to any Authentic Italian Food lover or not! The flavors will make you fall in love!

Tony’s has the best NY pizza! Once you have their pizza and other delicious menu items, you probably won’t want to go elsewhere. You may have to stand in line a while or wait for your order number to be called, but it’s well worth the wait!

Wanted to try a new pizza place, but I can’t say I’ll be back. Just on the food alone, I wasn’t too impressed by the pizza slice I had or the pasta my daughter ordered. She said she had an upset stomach afterward. Also, it felt a bit like the older guy who took our order was hitting on me, which he seemed to try to correct after I didn’t react to his compliment, but either way it came off as creepy, so I think I’ll probably stick to other places for my pizza.

I’m grateful to have Tony’s in our neighborhood! It’s a family-owned business, so it’s nice to have familiar faces greet you year after year. The grilled chicken salad is a go-to, and we love the chicken cheesesteak! The “Tony’s special” pizza has come in handy more than once for impromptu gatherings with our Haymarket friends. If you dine in and want a beer, you can’t beat the value!
