Took my mother here for dinner, and she said that everything tasted just like her grandmother’s cooking. The latkes were crispy and delicious. Matzo ball soup was the best I ever had! Portions were plentiful and prices were reasonable for what you got. Our server was patient and attentive. We were too full to sample the desserts, but we will plan better next time . We will definitely be going back, this is my new favorite restaurant!

We haven’t been to Toojays in a couple of years and I will definitely be going back. Prices are on par or better than other similar style restaurants, food is good and the service was great. Our server Scott is super nice and helpful. Hubs even enjoyed the coffee which is rare!

My wife and I went today for a late lunch. Our server was excellent, I can’t remember her name. We were seated in the front section across from the bakery. Anyway, she was very friendly, prompt and attentive! Our order did not take long to arrive at our table. My wife got the open face tuna sandwich and I got the 2 deli franks with sauerkraut. She loved her sandwich and slaw and they even substituted a fruit cup for the fries that she didn’t want. My franks were well grilled and the steak fries were great! The sauerkraut could have been cooked longer, it was a little stiff for my liking. It had about the same texture as the coleslaw which was very good. All and all, a very good experience, and we will definitely be back.
