Picked up a great lunch here! I had the pastrami on rye with thousand island dressing (so good I ate it all before I could take a picture of it). I also had a cup of their French Onion Soup – very good. I highly recommend if you enjoy deli food

Placed order for delivery on restaurant’s website. After placing the order received confirmation that order was pickup. I called the restaurant immediately to verify it was being delivered. The staff member confirmed that it was being delivered by Uber eats. After waiting an hour I called the restaurant to see what the status of my delivery was. The employee said that the order was sitting on the counter for pickup. I explained the situation and she said she would deliver it. In the background I heard a man say “no you won’t “. She gave the phone to him and he identified himself as the manager and said that i could either pick up the order or cancel it an put in the same order through a delivery service and he would give them the order that had been sitting on the counter. My wife is sick so i followed his directions. I will never go to or order from two jays again. They did not take ownership of their mistake. It has now been 2 hours since the original order and we are still waiting.

Employees need an attitude adjustment, food is good, not great. Pepsi products, I know that is a big deal for some folks. Plenty of parking and outside seating. Limited booth seating, mostly tables. Takeout counter can get crowded.

I love TooJay’s deli dishes and their Shepherds Pie, a British dish hard to find in the US. Service as average this visit, but is often above average. Prices are mostly very reasonable, below the inflated Fla prices this year. Despite the 3 star rating, I recommend it and go here every few weeks. It’s a “3”, in comparison with gourmet restaurants that I give a “4” and reserve a “5” for only the very few best.

Our server took 10 minutes trying to figure out our order on her little handheld. When it came time to pay, the server confused the amount on our gift card. A manager took the gift card to check it, then rudely tossed it on our table while flying by. When I confronted the server about the confusion, she told me I was accusing her of stealing our money.
