Joined our friends for dinner at Tooley’s Tavern. We were all 1st time diners, but our friends remembered this location when it was Levels. Love that the new owners didn’t change up the interior, but kept the very cool old woodwork and stage for entertaining. But we came for the food and were not disappointed. Nice diversity on the menu. We started with the poutine fries as our app, really good battered fries with brown gravy, bacon and cheese curds on top. Our friends ordered the blackened shrimp tacos while my husband had the Jameson jam burger and I tried the Country fried chicken which rested on a bed of mashed potatoes and sweet corn with Country gravy. Wow!

We were very excited to try the new place in town. The owners greeted us and were very friendly. We were seated with no menus and the server dropped off drink napkins but didn’t take our drink. Three tables seated after us received their drinks and gave their order before we had menus and gave our drink order. Waited almost 30 minutes before someone checked on us and then we immediately received our order. Eggs were ordered medium and over hard but came runny. Condiments took forever to get and the server NEVER checked on us until we were finished eating. They were not that busy to have received this service. Several owners walked right past our table and greeted other tables. Probably wont return and will hesitate giving recommendations.

Good food, terrible wait. Arrived around 545 on a pretty empty night, ordered and then didn’t get our food until after 730. Waitress made a comment that she had to make the salad in order to get it out to the table. No idea what the issue was but waiting over an hour and a half for four entrees is absolutely ridiculous. Won’t be back until this place gets it together.

Perfect addition to EC! Food and drinks are always delicious! Only problem is that I now have a hard time deciding what to order.
