It was really a nice environment when I visited in late afternoon. Top Dawg’s food was okay, though the fried pickles were

The food was great. We had the pulled pork sandwich. One had onion rings and the other had Cole slaw. Everything tasted great. Our waitress seemed preoccupied with something else. We ordered an appetizer we didn’t need. We asked about it when she brought out the entree she was gonna check on it but at that point an appetizer is too late so we canceled. I will return with a different waitress

I have been holding on going here because I wasn’t confident in the quality of the food. Well I decided to take my family there today. Customer service was great and the waitress was extremely good… The food was horrible from the Buffalo chicken dip that was probably made from canned chicken, the 3 tacos (1 shrimp, which was ok, 1 chicken with pre breaded/frozen chicken tender, 1 brisket which was equally as terrible as the chicken). We also ordered the burger which was terrible. Maybe the flat top needed cleaning or something because it had a bad taste. Overall I satisfied my curiosity and will not waste dining out there again. The atmosphere was fantastic and did not match the food, however the men’s bathroom needs a deep cleaning, it was nasty. Again, the waitress was very kind and professional.

My mushroom swiss burger was dried out. I asked for extra cheese and got hardly a slice. The fries were good. Our waiter was helpful. It seemed this was a regular stop for the folks at the bar. They all knew each other. My wife got the pot roast and said it was excellent.

I ate here on a Tuesday night. They have a happy hour Monday through Friday until 7pm. Unfortunately with it being football season they were out of a lot choices. Staff was friendly. Food came out quick, hot, and tasted fresh. My only complaint is that the burger patty is smaller than the circumference of the bun.

Basically this is not even a 1 star. This has been my worse experience ever. The fried fish look like chicken tenders. It seems as though the food came straight out of a box. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Management did not even bother to step up and make things right. So that says a lot. If you are a drinker then it’s a place to visit. If you’re coming to eat Good luck.

The food was delicious! Great daily specials! Our server was terrific! She checked on us periodically and made sure we were okay. We were able to bring our dogs with us. Great place!

Food was ok but we had a dog so needed to be in outside seating. They were short staffed so service was below subpar and the server did not listen when we told him things. Plus, he never came back to fill our drinks (in 90 degree weather), never brought our ketchup or syrup so i ate cold, dry french toast. Next time I’m in Augusta I’ll find someplace else to eat.

The food is the worst I’ve had in Augusta. On paper, the food sounds ok, but what comes out of the kitchen is cold/lukewarm, soggy, garbage. The most baffling part is most everything is fried. How do you mess up fried food that badly? It’s absolutely disgusting inside as well so be prepared to take a shower afterwards because you’ll smell like straight cooking oil the mildew smell from the bar mats won’t leave your nose for days.
