Chicken stew was warm (not hot) , watered down with so many dry parsley flakes mixed in just a huge disappointment. I was told I had to wait 35-40 minutes for the lunch special after I paid. The Mac n cheese had no flavor but cheesy. The corn seemed over cooked and old a very dark color. The roll smelled like wine . I don’t mind waiting to get a good meal but I waited only to give the food to my dogs. I don’t believe in throwing food away. Customer service was ok I guess the level of professionalism that I am accustomed to is not what I received. It’s almost like going by your auntie who sell plates not rude but not professional. The price promised was not given. I won’t be back to eat , however I may try the drinks.

Yesterday was my first trying their special.. The Mac n cheese spaghetti was spoiled and the dirty rice had no taste … I had diarrhea and cramps for an hour last night… the fish was fried real good, but the food wasn’t worth $20.. I’m a foodie but it’s a no for me, sweet people though!!

Dynomite smothered cabbage, bbq’d chicken, jams, cornbread, rice. Tasted exactly how my Mom cooked. Brought back fond memories. If you are visiting LaPlace, make it your lunch destination. I truly believe you will leave smacking your lips.
