This is an interesting place. I was just passing through and saw it on Google. It wasn’t what I expected. Food was pretty good. I had a burger and hand cut fries. The bathrooms could use some attention amd the waiter was less than stellar. The dining room was rustic and clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating and parking on 2 levels.

We left the interstate, looking for a unique place to eat and found this place. We almost didn’t stop because the outside leaves a lot to be desired. Upon entering, the restaurant had a very, very strong odor – a medicinal smell- that “stays in your nose long after you leave” kind of smell.

Excellent little joint. We stopped by in the mid-morning for some breakfast/lunch and all the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Overall, I loved the atmosphere of the place, but I took off one star because the back-rests of all the chairs were sticky and had accumulated filth over time. I’m not sure if I’ll be back in the area any time soon but if I am I’ll definitely drop in again. Would highly recommend.

Lovely diner and bar. We went for dinner the other night and and enjoyed this place immensely. I ordered smoked pork chops and my partner ordered a cheese steak. All was delicious and the prices are unbeatable.

A classic dive bar and I mean that in a good way. Limited but well thought out selection of draft beers. The food is far from haute cuisine, basic bar food, but it’s inexpensive, cooked right and tastes good. What more can you ask for? And were else in NJ can you find a decent burger for under 10?
