**Adding that I just ate the eggroll that came with the apps about 2 hours later, and it is the best egg roll I have had in Boise, hands down…I’m thinking they use a rice wrapper? not doughy or greasy, even room temperature….it was crispy and friggin goooodah!!**

Great food. I do take out frequently and spend around $25. The portions are very generous and last me 3-4 meals. I really love that fried rice does not have peas. All the food tastes fresh and is MSG free.

It is a local joint. Amazing family that runs it. The food has always been fresh and hot. It is a bit of a hole in the wall but I honestly love love love the food here. The family has been doing business since I was little. I hope to see them continue.

On my first visit to top Wok, I decided to ask the cashier for my to go order what her favorite menu item was. After nailing down which protein I wanted to go with (beef), with no hesitation she suggested they’re double mushroom beef. I was pleasantly surprised, and would gladly have this dish again! They also have a very good wonton soup. What a great find within walking distance from my office.

Their food tasted strange if you stick to the basic fried rice egg rolls And Chow maine you’re OK. Otherwise on their other flavors for dishes such as Kong pow chicken Is different than any other Chinese restaurant we’ve been to. along with some of their other dishes and not different in a good way.

We went for the third time hoping the service and food had improved, it was worse than ever. The vegetables looked like they had been reheated several times. The garlic shrimp was extremely salty, we couldn’t eat it. The waitress was as rude and unfriendly as ever. Horrible experience.

The food is great, much better than most of the Chinese food I’ve eaten in Idaho. However I do have mixed feelings about their customer service. I don’t like that they are only open for about 7 hours in the day, with half of that time being split by 2 hours in the afternoon. While their open and close times are inconvenient I still recommend giving this restaurant a try.

I love this place and the people who own it. I’ve been going for 20 years. Great sweet and sour and generals chicken. Best hot and sour soup around too! It’s my kid’s favorite Chinese restaurant as well.
