This is the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. Ordered lemon chicken and it has been frozen and reheated couldn’t cut it with a steak knife. The vegetable chow mien is horrible, and the vegetable fried rice is dry and no flavor, vegetables under cooked. Called and let them know that I wanted my money back and she hung up, I called back and let them know I would stop it through the bank. Save your money this is just nasty.

Made a large order of 6 meals for our medical office on July 4th. Ordering was easy. When I showed up at 1231pm for an order that was to be ready at 1230pm(order placed at 1150am) the order was nowhere near ready, they actually just started to cook the food when I walked in… why give a pickup time then?? The man at the front counter asked me if I wanted vegetable Lo mein instead of chow mein and I said chow mein light vegetables as placed on the order. Apparently, this is the one and only takeout chinese restaurant that calls a plate of vegetables (mostly onions in a mystery sauce) vegetable chow mein WITHOUT any actual chow mein noodles. $10 for a small plate of slimy vegetables… thank God it wasn’t the quart size I actual paid for. Ordered a Hot and Spicy Shrimp that has ZERO SHRIMP and no spice… just tough vegetables!! We had two orders of wonton soup that were jammed into the bag and broke and spilled all over everything before I even got back to the office. Now we are working a 12+ hour day without a meal because of that ONE takeout that thinks that Chow mein is a vegetable and not a noodle and Shrimp is not included in Hot and Spicy Shrimp(another waste of money). We will never order from there again, expensive lesson learned. When I called to ask about our order the man that I spoke with was very rude and did NOTHING to make it right or even let me speak. Pictures show what I got vs. what I expected. AWFUL!! AWFUL!! AWFUL!! WOULD GIVE A ZERO IF I COULD.

This place is awful. I put in an online order, was told I needed to wait 20 mins, just to find out they hadn’t cooked my food after the 20 mins. They over charge. The man thought he was going to take my payment after not cooking my food so I’d wait longer. Absolutely don’t go there. Customer service is horrible. Not to mention the staff are always arguing with each other. Who wants to hear that after getting off from work. If I could give it no stars, I would.

I don’t understand the higher reviews for this place. In addition to being comprised of substandard ingredients (shrimp in kung-pao dish were mushy and WAY overcooked, chinese vegetables in “mixed chinese vegetables” were non-existent), the food was just so-so. As an asian-american who has eaten chinese food all over the US and abroad, Top’s has the distinction of being the FIRST restaurant I’ve ever eaten in that has no idea what Chow Fun is (see photo). ALSO, a word of advice to future customers: the on-line app used by this establishment won’t let you submit your order without indicating whether you want to add a tip or not. I chose to generously tip because of the glowing reviews and my appreciation for fast-food workers during COVID. Instead, I suggest you add a minimal tip (or no tip) and check your meal upon pick-up. If all looks well you can leave a tip in the jar by the pickup window. In short, eat here only if you have no other options and are in danger of starving to death (or as in my case, had just spent 10 hours driving down the east coast and are exhausted).

We ordered $95 worth of food on Christmas Eve and gave a $20 tip. The food was 1 1/2 hours late for pick up, given the holiday and 2 combination platters were missing. I called the day after Christmas and they could care less!!! Poor customer service attitude!

All of there chicken is over cooked, tastes dry and as if it had been sitting there for hours. I also orders a shrimp egg roll and they were very greasy and the inside seemed very old. I was extremely disappointed in this meal and I would definitely NOT recommend eating here. Save your money! I even tried to call the restaurant to further discuss my issue and the lady literally hung up on me. Very disappointing.

No matter how far in advance I call Tops, my order is never ready. Just this past weekend, I ordered some soup and chicken wings. I was told my order would be ready in 15 minutes. I arrived 30 minutes after I ordered and still had to wait 30 minutes for a total wait time of 60 minutes and it wasn’t even a busy time. I don’t think they start cooking your order until you show up and pay. If that is the case, why not take my credit card over the phone? Or even better, note the fact that I am a loyal customer and have never failed to show and pay for my order. If it wasn’t for the fact that they have decent food, I would go elsewhere.

Your basic American Chinese joint. No special items were offered or on the menu. The food tasted decent and the service was quick.
