First time here! My usual place is closed on tuesdays so I decided to try this place! I would NEVER look inside and stop here based on looks alone. I also waited over 45 minute after the given wait time sitting in there which made it worse sitting there looking around . THE FOOD WAS WORTH IT. Oh my gosh. Every single item was still piping hot when I got home, the flavor was ACTUALLY THERE AND WAS AMAZING, the portion sizes were huge, and it was so fresh. Best crab Rangoon I’ve had in Virginia Beach.

This is my second visit in the last 2 weeks. I was with an Asian family the first time and appeared to receive better treatment even tho my portions were small. I felt this place charged a couple dollars more but gave it a chance anyway assuming it would be a little better than the others… it was worse. I was reluctant to go today but it’s right off the freeway on my way home and it was late. Tonight I ordered the curry beef and it was terrible. I phoned immediately and her son… who’s about 12 told her the the problem and she refused to come to the phone and yelled a lot on Chinese. He returned and told me it’s too late once you’ve placed your order. She’s never getting anymore of my business. I’d give the restaurant a zero if I could. The little amount of beef tasted as tho it had been boiled and had loads of cornstarch with no flavor… besides being chewy. The baby corn and bamboo shoots tasted like the can they come from. Very little meat period.

Excellence
This takeaway gem, like many restaurants, is operating with a minimal staff. Nevertheless the work product is excellent and consistent, whether pouring down rain or dry, weeknight or weekend. Orders are ready usually at least 2-3 minutes earlier than the promised time. Clearly this crew is great at what they do and enjoy providing good-quality, low-priced Chinese-American food! Glad they are not among the lockdown casualties of the past two years.

Was not impressed at all. I ordered the fried wings & you could tell it had been sitting possibly from the day before or something because it had that old smell and it was fried over & dry. I asked for my rice to have egg in it and it didn’t. The only thing that was decent was the egg rolls I ordered. I’ll never recommend anyone to this place

Slimy, terrible smelling food. Was at least expecting noodles with the vegetable chow mein, but got a foul smelling vegetable sludge that i couldnt work up the courage to put in my mouth (I have had other gooey chinese foods before and liked them, but this was different). The General Tsao’s chicken wasnt much better. Also I dont know how a restaurant can screw up rice but they found a way to, it was mushy and poorly-seasoned. I don’t usually post reviews but I wish I had known because I certainly would have opted for Panda Express. I know good “hole-in-the-wall” chinese restaurants, but this is not one of them. Truly the worst restaurant I have ever had in all 24 years of my life. I hope I don’t get sick.

This is the only Chinese food place I could get my daughter to eat at. They make everything exactly the way I ask them too and they don’t give me a hard time. The food is always good ! But the customer service is also very good.

I gave it a 4 star only because I ordered the sweet and sour chicken and the chicken had to be as small and round like the size of a nickel. I never seen such small chicken pieces. Normally every Chinese place I’ve been the chicken is way bigger. Other than that the food was actually good. No complaints. I would definitely go back. Maybe try the pork next time.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Tops China!!!! We have never been disappointed in their food!!! The chicken teriyaki is amazing, the egg rolls are incredible and everything else is amazing as well!!!!!! It is our go to for Chinese takeout!!!!
