This is such a fun little restaurant! The decor is really cute. We sat at the bar until a table was ready, the drinks were great and the bartender was very friendly. We sat outside at one of the glider tables and that was so fun! I had no idea the benches were swings so that was a fun surprise. Our server was super nice and helpful with some great suggestions. Our food was great, we really enjoyed the whole experience and will be back.

It is HOT here in Texas! The food is plated nicely and the portions are generous. The flavor was there but could have had a lil bit more jazzing up! Overall we can not complain. Come out and visit. I bet this place is a lot of fun on a Holiday or on any given weekend!

We enjoyed every part. The food and service were great even though they were very busy. We had the Stone Crab, Stuffed Flounder, Char Grilled Oyster (garlic butter were good) Lisa (server) made excellent recommendations and was very responsive. Kid Friendly – Definitely will be back.

Went here for dinner and there was virtually no wait, even for our group of 10. The service was good. The food is great. The kids loved the noodles. The fries are incredible! Some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The entree’s are really good as well. Great option for dinner near the water.

Best food in south east Texas! Once you try the Royal Red Shrimp you will never want any other type of shrimp again. The sauces and Red Snapper are to die for. My mom got the chicken fried steak. She loved it! You can’t go wrong visiting Topwater Grill.

Food and atmosphere was great. Prices were competitive. Service was decent…I think we were the only people not offered a drink menu. It was clear the regulars had preferential treatment regarding drinks, but we drove over an hour just to eat here.
