I happened to ride by this place. So I put it on the list to visit. It’s somewhat of a hidden gem. I went there Friday night and there was no wait. I’ve been twice. And both times the food and service were good. The sushi was delicious. The spicy tuna was actually spicy. I recommend three Diablo to roll. The chicken skewers were made of ground chicken… good but different. My suggestions would be to improve their drink menu and dim the lights at night. Otherwise it was a good experience. I definitely will return.

10/10 Tora is by far the best sushi in Charlotte. I visited for their soft opening and was extremely impressed with the staff, food, and the beautiful atmosphere. They have one of the best sake lists I have seen in town that pair wonderful with the menu. I will be returning often because it was an awesome first impression.

Do yourself a favor and go! Quite possibly the best sushi in Charlotte. The appetizers were just as incredible as the rolls. Service is top notch and the atmosphere was enjoyable with the indoor/outdoor garage style doors open. Will definitely be back!

Firstly the atmosphere there is a nice little vibe. They have to outside area. One is on the side the other is on the front. My sushi was great! I got the Atlantic Roll! The crab Rangoons were so light airy and crispy! I ordered chicken wings to go and fried gyoza! Definitely going back!

I stopped by for lunch on a Friday, and it was perfect. There wasn’t a crowd, the staff were lovely, and I had an entire meal for under $20. The Tempura Shrimp Bento box was excellent. The variety you get for ~$15 is unmatched and I walked away very happy. The Miso soup was also some of the best I’ve ever had!
