Queso was extremely good. For the tacos, I had the Democrat (barbacoa), the Trailer Park (fried chicken), and the Brushfire (jerk chicken). The jerk chicken and barbacoa were delicious. The fried chicken was kind of disappointing. Oddly flavorless, which is odd because I’d have expected it to be the “easiest” thing to get right.

Went in to grab a shrimp taco to go. Just to try them out and saw the cute bar area so I decided to have a margarita on the rocks while I waited (a favorite of mine). I was pleasantly surprised to receive one of the best margaritas I’ve ever had! (And I’ve had quite a few ). And the shrimp taco was fantastic too. And for both it only cost me $16.99 . Well worth it. Can’t wait to go back for round two.

At this point Torchys is a staple in other towns so it’s nice to have one in pearland. I’m not a huge fan of the fajita but the shrimp is wonderful! My kid thought the beef fajita was spicy. Will get him chicken next time. My husband got a grande burrito. It was smaller than expected but good. Great non soda drink selection and full bar.

Been waiting for Torchy’s Tacos to open in Pearland since the sign went up! I have been to several Torchy’s Tacos and I have never been disappointed. The Pearland parkway location continues this tradition. The service was friendly and attentive, appreciate the full bar options. I’ve missed having the queso for far too long. The only issue is that they aren’t open earlier for breakfast tacos. Thankfully I’m fine with breakfast tacos at any time of the day.

Bringing Up The Past
They put a lot of meat on the tacos, which is fantastic. But the tacos were served to us ice cold!! It takes away from the delicious tacos that should be warm. At least melt the cheese after you put it on. Even the meat was cold, like they had been made and then sitting under a fan on high speed. I recommend the tacos I checked below, but warm! Too expensive to be getting subpar food.

It worked out really good! Sagemont church had vacation Bible School in June and somehow or another Torchy’s provided a bunch of free Taco gift cards for those of us that worked at VBS. It pays to do God’s work, thank you Torchy’s.
