Sitting in this location writing this review in real time. Without question this has been my best Torchy’s experience to date. Our family frequents Torchy’s in Cedar Park and South Austin. This location blew them all away. The customer service was stellar, the food was PERFECT and the restaurant was clean and well attended too. Several people(including the manager) asked if we needed anything. Our chips never ran out and our food arrived hot and fresh and we ate during the lunch rush. Mind=blown. 10 out of 10 recommend!

We went to the new Torchy’s in Kyle. It did not disappoint. The food was excellent. The service was wonderful. It was a little too crowded for me but that was to be expected. The menu has something for everyone. I would recommend this place for anyone looking to please even the pickiest eater.

Abigail (bartender) is a rockstar! She keeps her bar clean, makes amazing drinks, has no trouble keeping up with orders, friendly, she even goes out and helps in the dining area when necessary. I loved the Baja taco, the Brushfire was HOT but delicious and my husband loves the Democrat…he says it needs to be renamed the Republican! LOL!

First of all, I am a big fan of Torchy’s tacos. I was excited when they opened here in Kyle. This location has only been open for a short time. I had planned to give them a few weeks to sort out the bug since they were brand new. The first time I went, I opted to order on the app. I place the order and get to the location. The app asks if you if you are going to pick it up inside or in the drive through. I opt inside. It tells me my food is ready to go. I go in and it is a zoo in there. I wait at the little window for to go orders. No one knows what the heck is going on. After 5 different people ask about my order and disappear, 30 minutes after the fact my order shows up. They give me a handful of discount cards since they dropped the ball. Thinking this was just a one time deal, I order breakfast tacos this morning. I pull in and goto the pick up area inside the store. I get ignored. There are 2 different people with buzzers waiting. I finally ask the lady, “Um, my order is ready and I do not see it.” She asks, “Did you check in with anyone?” I reply, “No. That is why you have the little windows so you can just grab your food,” She rudely says, “You have to check in with someone in case you pick up in the drive through or not.” I reply, “Excuse me? The App has an option for you to mention if you want to pick it up in the drive through or not. Why would I need to check in if the app tells me my order is ready and I paid for it online? Isn’t that a tad bit backwards?” She glared at me like I was in the wrong. This lady had ZERO clue how the Torchy’s app worked. If I needed to “check in” with someone, it should have been mentioned in the app, and it was not. I ordered online to avoid the long line that is always there at Torchy’s. If I wanted rude and unprofessional service, there are plenty of other places I could have gone to.

The new Torchy’s in Kyle was great! The two bartenders were keeping things clean and taking care of customers! The food was fresh, and the queso is the best!

It’s nice to have a Torch’s in town this one’s build out is excellent. It has indoor and out door seat, plenty of bar space and excellent service. The parking lot is a little crowd but other wise it’s a great location with the consistently damn good tacos you would expect from a Torch’s Tacos!

Dining area was very unkempt. Food and debrie all over the floor. Floor needs to be swept when preparing a table for customers. Don’t like having food on the bottom of my shoes

Brought my children for dinner. Waited 30 minutes for our food. The manager on duty even sat at the table next to us and ate while on his break. When I finally went and asked how much longer until our food was ready, the cashier went to check and promptly brought our food out. She said it had been sitting in the back because the pager they gave us wasn’t working. We were at the closest table to the kitchen. How on earth did they not even try to come and find us, knowing that we were waiting and that THEIR pager wasn’t working?? Dealing with excited/hungry kids for 30 minutes was not at all fun. Disappointed in the way they handled their own mishap.
