I recommend making reservations because it can get really busy there. When we sat down, they sat us in a corner where it looked like a pump on the ground, so it was leaking and didn’t smell great. It would’ve been nice if they sat us somewhere different, that is my only complaint otherwise everything else was good. The fettuccine Alfredo was not too saucy, and the crusted chicken that the waitress recommended to try over the grilled one was really good, I was pleasantly surprised. The zucchini fries were made well and tasted really good, with the marinara sauce on the side.

Torino is a great restaurant for fine Italian cuisine. My entrée was a terrific, well-prepared chicken parm over angel hair pasta. For appetizers, I enjoyed the cavoletti pecorino, which was fried brussel sprouts in a delicious cream sauce. For my desert, I ordered the homemade tiramisu. Everything was high-quality and tasted excellent. The atmosphere was also very pleasant with old jazz and crooner music played. For a high-end Italian restaurant, the prices weren’t extremely bad. Overall, it was a great experience and I would highly recommend dining at Torino.

Amazing food in Metuchen. My eggplant parmesan was delicious. When you can cut it with a fork you know they treat their food special. Dessert are homemade and are fantastic. Make reservations. You will not be disappointed.

This place is elevated classic American Italian food. A lot of attention to each dish. We love their meatball app served on a bed of ricotta cheese with tingly tomatoes. The chef must be a perfectionist. Service was also great!

Great location, friendly servers, and the food is amazing and fresh! I usually don’t eat a whole plate of pasta when I visit other Italian restaurants but I cleaned my plate here. Oh, and they have great wine. An all around great experience!

We can all be forgiven for seeing the small Italian place in a town that’s been there a while and assuming we know what it will be. But this is one you shouldn’t. The food here is legitimately special, and brings a creativity that ranges from welcome surprise to stunning.

My husband and I were celebrating our 20th anniversary. We live in Metuchen and wanted to stay local for a nice night out. The atmosphere was superb. Jules and Beto were fantastic and kept on top of our every need. Russ had the Rigatoni with Grilled Chicken and I had the Crab with Capellini. The pasta is made on site and you can taste the difference. We had the Fried Calamari as an appetizer as well. We let the restaurant know of our special occasion and they brought out an absolutely lovely dessert. I hope you will consider a great night out at Torino. You will not regret it.

Wow! Service was splendid. I’m vegetarian and got the Eggplant Parmigiana with Capellini, the sauce was incredible & eggplant was thin and delicious. They were very careful about allergies. My friend got the Crab and Capellini, it was scrumptious. We sat outside and had ourselves a very nice evening. Highly Recommend.
