El Gato Azul is one of my favorite restaurants and I wanted to try Barry Barbe’s other restaurant. The building is small and cute with plenty of outdoor seating. The staff is very friendly and there’s a view of the kitchen. Even the cooking staff said ‘hello’.

The food is excellent. The staff is attentive, and the atmosphere is very pleasant. There is both outdoor patio dining and indoor seating. We chose to dine alfresco as it was a very pleasant evening. However, we, and several other patrons, were swarmed with flies, to the point it was difficult to enjoy the food in an otherwise beautiful setting. I spoke to staff, and they provided table top fly fans, which did help somewhat. I suspect the flies are only an issue during certain atmospheric conditions (such as after recent rainfall), so we will be back sample some more food.

We have been here a number of times and always wonderful. On this visit the unexpected rain caused some seating delays. We were treated exceptionally during the wait and checked on several times. The complementary cocktails were a very thoughtful touch.

So glad we found this gem of a restaurant! The food was incredible, and the service was exceptional. Great wine list by the glass which is difficult to find in our little town!! We sat outside and had Christina looking after us. Christina explained the features so beautifully that we ordered both, she was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. Was a memorable experience for us, thank you so much! We shall return soon to request the patio with Christina to take care of us.

Nice place. We are locals and thought we’d try this place for the first time. I was surprised, especially after all the great reviews. Perhaps this was an off night for the chef; I’ve had a better Caesar Salad at half the cost at other restaurants…and the scallops and risotto had very little taste to it. My friend’s Shrimp Scampi was just as bland, and, at these prices, the expectation was much higher. Sorry to say, I don’t think we’ll be back.

Other than all the flies I loved the restaurant. El Gato is my favorite in Prescott so I had to try his new place. I got the special which was chicken meatballs and spiral pasta in a cream pesto sauce with mushrooms which was fabulous and came with a delious salad. The non specials do not. The food is top notch. Good wine selection also. We had to be moved from a corner table bear a window though because of all the flies. It helped but they were still flying in my hair and landing on me. The restaurant is very small.

We had high expectations but Torme did not live up to the hype. Generally, higher prices equate to better food but we didn’t find that here. Yes, the pasta is homemade but they only really have pasta options. Only 1 of 4 of us enjoyed our meal.

Their menu does not have the classic Italian restaurant choices but the flavor combinations are generally excellent. The service was great, quick and friendly. It’s a very cozy restaurant – read small – and pretty noisy. The food came quickly and was great. Prices are a bit on the high side but reasonable for the quality of the experience.
