Hot Nashville cheese curds were delicious, with plenty to share. My husband declares Tornado’s burgers the best in town. I’ve had one previously and I didn’t think it was anything special. The regular French fries are tasty. Good amount of seasoning. The sweet potato fries were just ok. Nothing special. I really enjoyed the chicken strip sandwich.

Absolutely delicious food, great customer service, and a chill atmosphere. Went with my brother for lunch and didn’t even have to ask for refills, a check, or a box for my food. Our waitress was super friendly and attentive.. Which is hard to come by anymore. Food was impressive.. I have to say this place wins new best wings in cedar rapids for me. They are little, crispy, moist, and packed full of flavor. The burgers match in quality.. Just go.

Everything was absolutely delicious. I had the Ham-Burger Dip and it was seared perfectly. The beef flavor was there but didn’t overpower the others and everything came together beautifully. The jalapeño pasta salad was a deliciously unexpected surprise. Great side if you don’t want fries.

The server was awesome and the food was great. The prices were not bad at all! The Southwestern Chicken Eggrolls were really good. I usually am not a fan of crinkle cut fries but these were crispy and seasoned nicely (and of course, they had awesome ranch). The veggies on my burger were fresh and I loved that we got a pickle on the side. We will be back!

1st time at Tornado’s, but will most definitely be back! From the service to the food, everything was phenomenal! I had the CopyCat Burger…ask for extra napkins as it is messy but soooo worth it! And let me tell you about the fries…YUM! Crinkle cut, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Perfection! And they have the GOOD ranch! What a good burger, this is the place to be!

Hadn’t been to Tornado’s in a long time, but had read many good reviews for their burgers so decided to give it a try. The burgers definitely did not disappoint! So tasty and full of flavor. Service was awesome as well. We’ll be back soon to try some of the burgers choices.

Can’t rate the food, as it never arrived. If you go, off-peak hours are recommended. We had wanted to try their burgers for some time, and finally took our 2 boys. It was fairly busy, but not packed. Our server was friendly and welcoming at first. We placed our order and waited. And waited. And waited some more. After a half hour, we became concerned, but decided to hold off on asking in hopes that our orders would arrive soon. At 45 minutes,I expressed concern to our server. We were told “we’re really busy and everything is happening all at once.” I asked about how long. She said to hang on while she spoke with the kitchen. Still hopeful. She returned and told us that the kitchen said it would be out soon. Then said “it’s only been 40 minutes.” Only. We could get no clarification as to when we would get our food. Since we didn’t know how long it would take, we opted to pay for the drinks, cancel our orders(2 hungry sons were growing restless). Our server then told us not to worry about it as I offered money to pay for our beverages. Other tables were awaiting their food as well, and we overheard people at a table near us discussing how it was taking a long time and pointing out that we were there longer and had yet to receive our meals. We went to newbo and had immediate service and the food came out quickly.

My golf partner and I had an early Friday night meal after golf and it was very good. Quickly seated and waited upon. All of the staff we encountered were very personable. I had the shrimp Poboy and what made it over the top delicious was my chosen side of coleslaw. The best coleslaw I’ve ever had bar none. Contained some colorful peppers which made the flavor five stars for me.
