Horrible food and over priced. Bread was stale, bistec was dry and seemed like it had been reheated. Other tortas had very little chicken. Not sure if its under new management but I would not recommend this place.

This is one of the few places that’s close to home so we tend to buy a lot from here, it’s very recommended since they always provide such a great service overall. Also, the food is pretty much one of the best things that are around and the wait varies from 10-20 minutes, this depending a lot on the day, the hour, etc.

I’ll cut right to the chase. If you’re looking for a good torta in Brownsville, look no further. This is the place. Looks can be deceiving but this is the best spot for a tortas. Alot of places in Brownsville brag they have the best tortas when they certainly do not but here at TAFyM serve the best. They don’t skimp out on the meat, the prices are reasonable, and the service is fast. I can’t tell you how many places I been in town that put like 10 little peices of bistek but it’s the right amount over here at this nice little restaurant in Southmost.

Tortas are good. Ordering is NOT. Speaker wasn’t working and made the wait alot longer. It took a while before someone had to come out and take orders. After all that, the main portion of the meal was mostly sauce, very little meat.
