Okay, hear me out. We came to this place because of the reviews. Now, I will preface this by saying I am from that Rio Grande Valley and we are about 45 minutes from the Mexican border so we got authentic Mexican food out the ying yang.

The owners seemed genuine and were overly kind. Plus the food was incredible and more than I could eat! I got the horchata as well and it was the largest cup I’ve ever seen. 10/10 would recommend.

Absolutely delicious! 10/10 would recommend. We enjoyed La Norteña, La Alemana & La Capitalina. There’s a variety of drinks available. Everything was made to order and tasted amazing! Will definitely stop by again during our road trips.

Definitely the best tortas I’ve had yet. A small little restaurant out in bellmead but when it comes to Mexican food that’s really the perfect combination. The cashier lady was very nice and the serving sizes were bigger than I expected. Going back here whenever I get the chance.

Shared the Torta Cubana with my husband because it is HUGE! The ratio of meat/veggie/bread was PERFECT! Seriously worth the drive if you’re close to Waco! The service was great, the people took the time to explain the menu to us in great detail. We will be back!

We tried Chilanga and Tlaxcalteca tortas and both were delicious. You can add jalapeños, Chipotle, or Serrano. The Chipotle has a delicious smoky flavor that adds to the flavor of the torta. They have a huge selection of tortas and they’re huge.

I got the Mexicana with serrano on it. May have to get chipotle and jalapenos on it as well next time as it wasn’t spicy enough for me but it was great none the less! Really wish I had found this place sooner!
