I tried the Vienna sandwich which had chicken cutlets, mozzarella, prosciutto di parma, roasted peppers, arugula, tomato, and balsamic glaze. The sandwich was really good and the portion was generous. The ingredients were fresh. One thing I noticed was that the bread is on the hard side but I like it that way because it prevents sogginess. I will definitely come back. All in all, I recommend this spot!

The Mona Lisa Cutlet sandwich is fantastic. Great, fast service and even got a free bag of chips compliments of the house. Will definitely be back!

Don’t walk…Run!!! This place has INCREDIBLE SANDWICHES! They also have soup that’s made in house. The proportions are enormous which is great for a lunch and then a dinner. It’s a chef’s kiss kinda place. If you want the best sandwiches in Philadelphia, eat here. The meat was very fresh as well as the veggies and dairy. Very kind owner named William. One of the sweetest shop owners I met. I highly recommend this sandwich shop and cannot wait to go back!

Holy Moly! This is why you come to Philly, to get Italian sandwiches like this! Getting one of their specialty chicken cutlet sandwiches is a must! They take classic Italian style sandwiches and add a cutlet to it which brings it to a whole another level. The flavors work so well together!

This place is one of the best sandwich shops you’ll find! Def recommended and if there’s a wait, it’s worth it. I’m not a big fan of tuna but I get it here and it’s

I’m from out of town and really wanted to try this spot as they are one of the top rated places for sandwiches. I walked 20 minutes to get here and when I arrived I was told that they were closed and not making sandwiches, mind you they close at 3pm on Sunday’s, I arrived before 1. Terrible experience for customers when you just set your own hours on the fly.

If you haven’t been here then you need to go! What a fantastic sandwich shop! I can’t believe they didn’t pop up on my radar before but I am glad they did. I’ve tried several sandwiches and have ordered with other friends as well and we have all loved our food! If you are thinking about trying Tortorices stop thinking and just order, you will not be disappointed. I really can’t say enough about their quality and attention to detail.

If I could rate this place 10 stars I would. It’s a must!!! I literally crave these sandwiches. Hand sliced meats right there in front of you right on the sandwich. This place is every Italians wet dream. Gotta try the Vienna with the olive spread! Or the eggplant spread! It’s my favorite sandwich.

Great sandwich! I went at 1:45 and they had already sold out of their more popular items, so keep that in mind.

We are fans. The sandwiches are great – ciabatta is the go to bread of choice in our family. It can be a little hectic, and is a small business, so if you are going to have a fit if you don’t have a well-oiled machine experience, it might not be for you. In our view, owners are super nice and personable, if there is any delay or snafu they more than make it up to you and are apologetic, and the food is fantastic. Recommended!
