Absolute must try, food and service on point and Marta was as good as good can get. To start were house made rolls with an amazing dipping oil that words can’t describe. Then came the Caprese salad, the house ensalata and damn they were good. Homemade mozzarella was creamy and decadent with a balsamic dressing that was heaven. Mine the greens were fresh with a lot of shallots and a house vinaigrette that was on point. Main courses were Chix Picatta, tenderlish chix with perfect pasta and a perfect sauce. My sweet sausage pizza sprinkled with red pepper flakes was one on the best pizzas I’ve had, eva. You can taste the freshness in everything.

Hands down the best Italian cuisine and pizza in town and this is coming from a New Yorker who loves his New York Pizza. This is as good as it gets. With up to 5 toppings, the crust is still baked all the way thru and fresh ingredients you can taste in every bite. Truly authentic! For those of you who like an extra kick, try the Muscles Fra D’Aviolo.

Pace is very slow as the meals are individually prepared from scratch, but it’s worth the wait! Staff is friendly. Would prefer not to have the electric keyboard music, it was pretty awful.

Distant Hope
Right when you sit down you know it’s gonna be great Italian food. The atmosphere and the fact that the Head Chef is also the owner let’s you know you’re going to get a high quality dinner. Given freshly baked bread with oil that I had to stop eating to leave room, I could have had many more rolls. Chicken parm was amazing, sauce was not to sweet and had a good acidic balance. Pasta cooked perfectly and the chicken had crispy breading but was still juicy. Seasoned very well. Waitress was friendly with a great attitude. Prices were what you would expect. I highly recommend you go here if you enjoy top tier Italian food made by a professional.

This was our first time and a surprise by my husband on Valentine’s night. We enjoy trying new places and were able to park just a short walk away on the street. As we walked in there seemed to be no sign nor hostess. They finally came out of the kitchen and someone asked if we had reservations and with our yes reply proceeded to tell us to select any table (they all had reserved signs). We sat down and waited well over 10 minutes before our waitress came along with menus and water. She proceeded to tell us she was new. We waited another 10 min or more before she took our drink order. By the time she came by to take our dinner order, my husband asked if the drinks were ready. It seemed no one was at the bar. She proceeded to check on the drink order and took a while before coming back with drinks (she had to ask who had which drink) and finally took our dinner order. In the meantime she was escorting new arrivals to a table. There seemed to be limited staff and no order to what was supposed to be a special evening. We received bread (3 small slices of italian bread) along with delicious dipping oil. Then later our first course arrived (our waitress asked if we had ordered what she was delivering) and we were able to order a 2nd drink (delivered by a different woman who happened to see them sitting at the bar). Our dinner finally arrived and was delicious and hot which was delightful. Needless to say three couples got impatient and walked out, one table had no waitress come with menus or water (over 15 minutes waiting). After our meal we sat for a bit watching the fiasco of our missing waitress from our side of the room. We were told by the same woman who brought our drinks that our waitress was leaving. We decided coffee and dessert were best out of the question even though we were asked if we wanted anything else. We paid our bill and finally our waitress appeared and said, “where is your rose” and proceeded to bring me a rose and 2 chocolates and told us the chef was all alone and didn’t feel the need to bring on extra staff. My husband felt bad and gave her an extra tip. Overall we loved our drinks and dinner but were a bit disappointed with the service. I’m not sure we’ll go back anytime soon. Oh let me say the piano man was a nice touch!

The place was nearly empty when we sat at 6:00. By 7 it was busier however we ordered around 615. Food came at 710 and it was awful. The chicken dinner had a sauce on it that was loaded with salt and a taste that wasn’t tolerable. I tried to wipe it off with a napkin. My daughter’s salad and salmon had an off taste. Needless to say neither of us could tolerate eating our dinner. We told waitress but they didn’t care and after many apologies for the delay of our dinner there wasn’t even a discount offered for such a horrible dinner. After we met up with some other people who said they already knew about the food and were told they microwave alot of food prepared in advance. Never again.
