The food was excellent, including the gluten free spiced chicken penne and gluten free pizza. The service was kind of confused from the time we walked in, though that may have been partly caused by the rain. The food was pricey and the gratuity added is quite annoying – I can’t believe that is in the interest of the servers who would often get more if the customer can set the amount.

This was more like a 3.8 star experience. The servers took a while to decide who would serve us and everyone looked spent and ready to go. This was a Saturday afternoon. For the prices I was shocked at the delay in customer service. Also the appetizer came out with the food but it wasn’t busy at all. Maybe so no one should have been in the weeds. But the bar tender. Slinger white guy was great. He came over and up sold us a spiked coffee and really made us feel welcomed. Not sure I would ever go back even tho the food was pretty good.

I stopped here for dinner,solo, one rainy night last week. I sat at the bar, ordered a cocktail, and a spicy chicken pasta dish that was so flavorful. The dish had plenty of vegetables in it also – mushrooms, tomatoes, broccoli. The sauce was spiced just right. Give Toscano a try. And thanks to the bartender and host who retrieved and kept my jacket until I came back to get it.

Recently found this gem of a restaurant at Atlantic Station and have been coming in regularly ever since. The food is phenomenal, well balanced, flavorful all in an unpretentious and welcoming environment. The only thing that exceeds the food is the hospitality by the entire staff, especially owner and manager David – he’ll make you feel like family. Can’t recommend Toscano enough!
