My favorite sushi place and local cafe in general! Toshi’s has such a pleasant atmosphere, a super friendly and generous staff, and an extensive and flavorful menu. I recommend the avocado maki roll. I also would suggest the funky monkey smoothie. The location is a bit secluded, but those who are lucky enough to find this hidden gem will definitely be pleased!

This is such a cute little place. Beautiful interior. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I ordered couple of things and they were all delicious. The sushi tasted fresh. Salmon on bagel was great too except the bagel. it was a bit too hard to bite. Overall a great experience and i will definitely be going back.

Literally the best fast place in the whole triad to stop for sushi and delicious drinks! I’m obsessed with the garden roll and the green tea smoothie is gas. My husband loves the chicken cutlette wrap and mocha and highly recommends those. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing

I frequently visit this Japanese-style cafe and I have to say it was a delightful experience. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and the decor is authentic and well-crafted. But what really made my visit special was the hospitality of the owner, who was present during my visit and made sure that everything was perfect.

I have a severe soy allergy but have always wanted to try sushi. For the past two years I have gotten coffee from this place and it has always been so tasty. My favorite are the lavender lattes. Today I decided to ask the owner about soy free options and if it was safe for me to eat. He assured me of soy free options, prepared my order aside from the kitchen, and made me feel safe. The salmon maki roll is my new favorite order! This place is so homey and the staff are the sweetest ever. The food, coffee, and service here is amazing. Most importantly, he tended to my allergen needs and did not make me feel like an inconvenience. I honestly wanted to cry I was so happy and grateful. If you are looking for an authentic homey sushi/cafe this is no. 1 on my list!!

Had a great first experience at Toshi’s Cafe. We tried crab supreme roll which is a generous portion that my bf and I split. The pork buns were great but I do wish it was shredded meat. We also got the premade cheesecake and a green tea bread which were both amazing. The experience, service, and food was great. Definitely excited to have found a cute small business restaurant here in Greensboro!

Small cafe. Not loud. Good place to meet a friend to catch up. We’ve been a few times and we are never disappointed. The last time we got the sushi burrito and Katies roll…..we are going back soon to repeat the same order. Amazing.

Overall I would rate the place as a B+. The items they did well were the pork buns, the pork fried dumplings, and if you are into octopus, the octopus balls. I tried the octopus for the first time and while I am personally not a fan I can see how someone who enjoyed octopus might really enjoy them. They were crunchy and chewy on the outside and creamy in the middle. The octopus was chewy and a little too fishy for me. The fried dumplings were excellent! The pork had good flavor and they were cooked perfectly. The sauce the accompanied them was truly delicious. The pork buns were soft and doughy and the pork inside was insanely delicious.
